Found the home needed refreshing on the decor. The staff are excellent and very friendly and caring. Will recommend the home to anyone who asks my opinion. Thought that more staff may be needed, but those that are available are very good and professional.

Thank you for your feedback. Just for your reassurance, we staff according to dependencies. It is worth noting of late, we have struggled and have been reliant on agency use. We are currently recruiting a decorator to assist with a long-term project. Whilst we appreciate all feedback, we would always want our residents and relatives to approach us with this detail in the first instance.

Sometimes feel it is a struggle to get any information on my husband. When I ask all I get told is he is ok. It would be nice to know how things really are. I know it's been hard the last two years, but it's been hard for me also. My heart goes out to all the staff. They don't have it easy. Maybe relatives
could be more involved.

My father has had palliative care at Brancepeth Court. The care he has received has been excellent. Staff is very informative, caring, and showing empathy during this difficult time. Communication has been excellent keeping us informed every step of the way and answering any questions we would have.

In August 2019, my gran was placed in the entrusted care of Management and Staff.
From the initial "settling in period ", the immediate family were always kept updated and all next steps were discussed.
The layout of rooms, cleanliness of areas was impeccable and a standard to be proud of.
During
my grans stay she was treated with the utmost dignity, and could not have been cared for any better.
Visitations to the home were never an issue, and all Staff were like a family having regular chats, but being professional when required, often performing over and above.
A massive shout out goes to all Management, members of staff (especially the Senior nurses ), due to my gran slowly deteriorating and sadly passing away the nursing, empathy and sympathy shown was truly amazing
These group of people are truly unsung heroes, thank you all for everything xxx

My dad trusted me to find him a place for him that would provide end of life care and 24 hours nursing. It was not a task I found easy but on visiting Brancepeth Court, within minutes of being there I knew it was a place I would feel happy for my dad to spend the last weeks of his life. It is bright
and airy and the welcome is always warm and friendly. After talking with members of staff, I left without a doubt everything I would want for my dad was here. They were very kind to me too and showed great compassion.

On the whole, we find this home good, with good staff. The only thing that could be improved greatly is the stimulation of residents, not just occasionally, but in my opinion, daily. Even one person designated to this task and especially at weekends. Those that can walk made to move etc, more children
entertaining from schools, dance schools - pet therapy or just a daily chat. I understand staffing may be a problem.

My Mam moved to this home two weeks ago and her family could not be happier. The care is brilliant and Mam gets plenty food and drink. She is always clean and well presented, you can tell she gets regular baths. All of the carers are very friendly and they cannot do enough for you.

All of the staff - nurses, carers, domestics, admin, laundry, kitchen, maintenance and management, were at all times pleasant, friendly and welcoming to myself and other family members when we visited.


They give excellent care to a high standard, being friendly and professional at all times. Communication

was excellent and I cannot praise the team enough.
I would not hesitate to use this care service again.

The staff at Brancepeth Court, Willington Care Village, did a wonderful job in looking after my very elderly mother. Always patient and kind, every one of them. Above all, I think the most important thing was that they really got to know my mam and understand her. They seemed to like her and care for
her personally and she certainly liked them and trusted them. They seemed to be like this with everyone no matter how busy.

My aunt is 99 this month and has been at Brancepeth Court for nearly 2 years when she had a chance to move nearer her friends and home village, she refused saying she "could not be cared for better." All the staff from nurses to cooks and cleaners show the utmost care and respect for my aunt and I'm

I have nothing but praise for the care my mother receives. She is happy and contented, secure and treated with dignity. She eats well there and enjoys the food. The staff are wonderful to her and she thinks the world of them all. I thank ALL staff there who do an excellent job.
