The care home has been a godsend to look after him. I am very pleased with all the people and carers that have looked after him.

Overall Experience

When we had to move my Mum to a new home St Helens was recommended. On first impression I was unsure. The rooms were small, darker and without ensuite facilities compared to where she had been. However, I was impressed by the manager and the staff we met. Eight months down the line I am completely satisfied with how she has settled and how she is looked after. The carers understand her needs and I have been impressed by how they interact with her. We are always made welcome and there is always someone on hand to report on how Mum has been. The residents are always supervised in the lounge and I feel confident my Mum is in safe hands. Good care means more to my Mum at this stage in her life than fancy furnishings and this is what she gets in St Helens.

My husband seems to be happy here. I only wish he was closer to where we live. I visit him always and he is clean and tidy and staff have been taking him out.

I am happy with his care and the home.

Overall Experience

This is the best home my Uncle has been in. The staff are fantastic and we know he is getting looked after really well. He is loved and well looked after. They see to all his care needs and keep him safe. He is brain damaged and cannot look after himself. We know that all the staff and Manager meet all of my Uncle's needs.

Visited my elderly uncle on 4th December, to deliver Christmas presents. I was welcomed by helpful supportive staff who as always are only too willing to offer help and support. I have witnessed staff interacting with the clients in a warm and empathic manner.
