The surroundings are really pleasant; it's a nice place to visit. Dining rooms are clean and airy. Bedrooms spacious and you can make them 'home from home' with your own furnishings etc. However, what stands out for me is the staff. All the girls are caring and highly professional. They seem to genuinely care about doing the best for the residents, keeping them safe and comforted. That means the world to me. It is hard to come to terms with a loved one needing care, but I would wholeheartedly recommend Melbury Court.

My mother entered Melbury Court in October 2016. She was extremely unwell and if it were not for the care she received at this home, she would not be here today. The staff are kind, caring and the home has a lovely atmosphere.

My mother was only at Melbury Court for a short time and she died after just over two weeks, but, she had settled happily and clearly enjoyed it. We are grateful for the kind care she received.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident at Melbury for over 2 years. The care she has just keeps on getting better. When she first went in to care it was near her home and it was a disaster, this caused me a lot of stress. Melbury was recommended to me by a friend and also my podiatrist, it is closer to my home which makes visiting much easier. My mother is very frail now but we still have quality time together thanks to everyone at Melbury. I had a lovely visit today seeing my mother so warm and comfortable in immaculate surroundings together with a lovely lunch prompted me to make this review. If you are like me require nothing but the best for your loved one then your answer lies at Melbury. I feel welcomed the staff are all so friendly and the care is marvellous but most of all I know that when I am not there she is loved and given the very best of care.
