This care home seems very friendly and pleasant. The staff are kind and helpful. I'm afraid I don't visit all that frequently but these are the impressions I get when I do visit!

The staff made my mother very comfortable and relaxed. Absolutely fantastic place and staff brilliant. I feel really at ease with my mother being at Melbury Court. She is getting 1st class attention and very pleasant staff cant do enough for you. It is her first time in respite and cant fault anything
if I need respite again I would fee at ease and would not worry about my mother. Spot on.

My mother required a palliative care bed. Visited the home and was immediately put at ease by the professional approach, advice and information given. Assessment of care needs made promptly, and a smooth transfer to home. The carer has been very good, all staff are friendly and approachable, respectful
and kind. From all staff, ancillary staff, handyman, laundry, carers, nurses and senior management, we cannot thank them enough for their support for us all at an emotional time. This is a well-maintained home, the rooms are good, and very clean. Hardworking staff and polite care teams. My mother was treated with kindness and care, dignity was maintained, and her voice was heard. Thank you.

My Dad recently passed away, whilst in the care of the staff at Melbury court. I can honestly say that the care and support my Dad received was way above and beyond what was expected. He was treat with respect and decency, kindness and more during the five years he was a resident. The job that those
who work in this area, is very, very difficult. Thank you all for looking after my Dad.

Majority of care staff friendly + caring
Activities provided but temporary resident chose not to engage
Occasional minor issues with the cooking of my personal meal at lunchtime

Place is always nice and clean, although there are never enough staff around. The staff there is are friendly but they could do with a few ore. Our friend thinks the food average quality.

I am sorry to hear you feel there is not enough staff, I can confirm that our staffing levels are calculated based on our residents dependency, and can confirm we are staffing in line with our residents current dependency. Our staffing levels are reviewed a minimum of monthly and overseen by the Area Director. We have passed on your feedback to our Head Chef regarding the food. Our food is made fresh each day and our menus are devised with residents involved across our care homes. We continue to seek feedback regarding food and meal service during our monthly resident meetings.

Mam came into Melbury Court for respite care on Monday. A new experince for all of us. Staff very helpful, room good.
Mam has only been here 4 days and has had her hair done and nails, she loved this.

I found that the care home is a very warm and friendly place the staff are always very kind and helpful and always there if I have questions or need any assistance they're also very good with my mother who seems to have settled in quiet well which is very reassuring for me.

My mother moved here from hospital with palliative care needs.
We chose Melbury because it was able to fulfil her nursing care needs.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are attentive and as prompt as they can be when the button is pressed for attention. Having a call button was important
to us for peace of mind.

Mam is treated with lots of care and respect. She is always clean and her hygiene needs attended to when required.
The staff understand Mam's communication (non-verbal) and respond appropriately. I feel comfortable in the knowledge that Mam is receiving the best care possible.

Absolutely fabulous nursing home! Staff are brilliant, very supportive and helpful. Dad is so happy with his room, the medical support he receives, the variety of meals and the care he requires being given daily.
The staff have organised haircuts, chiropody and most importantly to dad, holy communion!
Always lots going on, activities, birthday celebrations etc. Highly recommend!
