My mum went to Sandringham in October 2022. She was very well looked after by all the senior carers, carers and assistant manager. When she got homesick, the girls were always there to cheer her up. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Due to my mum's medical problems, I felt the staff were
very sympathetic to her needs. Mum's end-of-life care was five stars. Fantastic nursing care. The home was a lovely, friendly place. Management and staff were five stars. I would recommend it to anyone.

As reported in our review of 5 Jan 22, we continue to be unable to fault the care received during the now c.13 months my mother has been at the home. The home's staff - at all levels, of the home's care, ancillary and management teams - have continued to do their utmost to make sure that Mum has remained
happy at the home and retained the dignity befitting someone of her senior years.
Mum's principle grumble is the mixed/poor quality of the homes catering services/food, with her having to arrange for supplementary supplies of fresh fruit and favoured foods to maintain a more varied and interesting diet.
When considering scores this time, we have taken account of the ongoing Covid and cost-of-living situations, and the impact of both on home staffing and operations etc, and therefore on the home's quality of service provision and facilities.

I have found all the staff most helpful and friendly. The care staff are competent and caring. The food could be a little more thoughtful in kind, but the kitchen staff are open to requests and very helpful to special needs. We can bring in items of our own to furnish our rooms. The facilities such
as laundry are excellent.

I can't fault the care my father is receiving at this care home. My father has settled well he is happy and well looked after. The food is excellent staff are friendly and caring nothing is a bother. My father is always clean and tidy. The staff are well trained and able to deal with my father's unpredictable
behaviours.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to family and friends.

Visits to my mam in her room has made a great difference. As I now understand the level and quality of care needed to look after her. Mam always looks clean and well presented and is treated with dignity by the staff. Although Mams health continues to deteriorate, we feel she is in the right place with

Pre Covid-19 times, visiting my mother was always a very special and pleasant time. Staff and other visiting relatives were always very pleasant also... However, during the Covid-19 lockdowns, it was only via telephone messages that I was able to get information about my mother's well-being. Now we
all can visit again by wearing PPE (gloves, masks etc...) it is well organised with allocated rooms and times being arranged via phone calls. Let's hope all goes well in near future to get back to normal.

My mum has had excellent, professional care at Sandringham. Throughout COVID 19 we have been kept informed of all steps and procedures. Even though my mum has been extremely poorly she has been well looked after and at 92 has survived this terrible virus. I was able to visit her outside a couple of
weeks ago and could not believe how well she looked, knowing how ill she has been. The staff at Sandringham are amazing and deserve congratulations for their continued care and positive engagement with my mum.
