Located in a residential area in Darlington, Eastbourne Care Home is a spacious home from home setting offering residential and nursing care.

I have asked members of staff ie seniors about my mothers weight loss and nothing seems to have been done, also informed staff regarding toilet door needs attention. The room is very tired looking as well as the bathroom fire door not closing when fire alarm rings (testing)

My uncle has been in Eastbourne Care Home for several weeks now and has received wonderful care from all the staff. He is well looked after by everyone. The home itself is lovely with various little events on from time to time. All in all an excellent home with lovely staff.

The home is a lovely, friendly place with a nice atmosphere and is a pleasure to visit. The staff are great; they are helpful and offer great care to my mam. It's a lovely place for all the residents to live and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place for a member of their family.

The staff and care given to my mum has been excellent. Staff friendly and caring. The home is dated and could do with upgrading. My mum does complain about the food often being cold. She doesn't participate in the activities. He room is always kept very clean and the laundry service is very good.

Very friendly staff very welcoming and helpful. My uncle has been in Eastbourne care home for about four months and has settled in lovely he speaks highly of staff and the care they give him. I visit the care home daily staff are always on hand if I need anything or I am unsure of anything to do with
my uncle nothing is too much for staff even when I can see they are extremely busy. The care home is always spotless clean and so are residents lovely place with a lovely atmosphere.

I haven't filled in "Activities" or "Value for Money" as I haven't sen any activities and am not privy to "Value for Money" or the financial terms. I think the staff are needed especially on the assessment floor and more could be done to get the residents mobile again. Definitely need some activities
to stimulate the residents.The staff do their best with limited numbers. The bedding could be better and often residents laundry goes missing.

Mum recently came into Eastbourne Care Home. Mum suffers from severe anxiety and both the manager and all the staff have made mum's admission and mum at total ease. They spend time explaining everything to us as a family and we and mum feel very lucky to be looked after by this exceptional team. So

There is always a very friendly caring atmosphere in the home. Members of staff are always on hand to resolve any issues that develop. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Residents are well looked after and cared for. The staff always popped in to check on them to have a chat or give reassurance if needed.

My dad was made to feel very welcome, the staff are brilliant and could not do enough for him. The home is clean, with no smells and a very homely atmosphere. My dad is also really enjoying the food. Management is responsive and communicates at every stage. Highly recommend the home.

Lovely staff, can't do enough for my uncle or us when we visit. He loves the staff. The Receptionist is always very welcoming with a smile and all the staff are very obliging. Plenty of food, he loves his food well presented and plenty of it. The rooms very very, small but adequate. The garden is lovely
but make a few more flowers. Ask the family to bring some instead of cut flowers.

Mum transferred from a care home and now requires nursing care with EMI. The Manager and his team worked hard to welcome mum and help her cope with the change. The atmosphere of Eastbourne Home is calm and welcoming and there is always a smile on the faces of all staff. There is always a member of staff
available to meet mum's needs.

The home is very friendly and has an open-door policy with the Manager. The staff are fantastic. Mum's room is kept clean, tidy and in good repair. Mum's clothes are kept well and the girls are happy to keep me informed when replacements such as (underwear and nightwear etc) are needed. Very happy with
this management.
