My mother was admitted to De Baliol Care Home in July 2025 after a long period in hospital. She celebrated her 90th birthday this year, which in all honesty I didn't see happening last year. My mother says she is happy with the care she receives from the staff at the home and I agree that she has been
well looked after since she arrived. De Baliol in my opinion is well managed and has a good atmosphere.

In October when my uncle first went into the care home for respite. The staff were excellent and I noticed how very clean the home was. My uncle has come on excellently. For 24/7 hour care, my wish and I hope he becomes a permanent resident.

From day one when my uncle went into the care home he was treated very kindly and we the family, were treated the same, we were given information about his care and the staff helped with various other things for my uncle which they didn't have to do. My sister is really comfortable at De Baliol as it is in the village where she was raised. Myself and my sister know quite a few of the staff so she felt at home straightaway. The care home has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.
