The loveliest care home! Every single member of staff is awesome. They are like friends to the residents to just staff.

Very clean and best staff in the world!

My dad has been well looked after and is taking part in lots of activities - he is enjoying his time at De Baliol. the staff are brilliant.

If I had to pick a fault, I would like my mum showered more than once a week.

Our mam has been in De Baliol care home for over six years. The care she has received and continues to receive is outstanding. All of the staff treat her with the utmost dignity and loving, gentle care. All of the staff work extremely hard and are so caring and professional in their work.

My 99-year-old mother has been a resident for over a year and is very happy and settled, regarding De Baliol as home and the staff as her friends. The staff are doing a great job from top to bottom. They do at time seem to be a little short-staffed, but go out of their way to keep their residents happy and safe. Really nice people doing a difficult job, yet always friendly and helpful, who could ask for more?

Can not complain about anything or any person.

The home is kept very clean and the staff are friendly and very patient. The manager is very approachable. The atmosphere in the home is friendly. The care is genuine. Concerns are taken seriously and dealt with. The residents are well looked after and their clothing and rooms are kept clean.

Staff are so welcoming and friendly when we arrive to visit and care for Dad very well, despite the constant demands on their time.

The care provided at De Baliol is very good and has been consistent since my dad first came here 9 or so months ago. The staff are friendly and caring despite their busy workload. It is important to my family, knowing that when we leave after visiting. my dad is safe and looked after.

Ever since my grandma transferred to De Baliol her health, her wellbeing and her mental state has done nothing but improve and keeps improving. I would like to thank everyone who contributes and who takes care of the residents, including my world, my grandma. I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone who has helped my grandma.

Since my mum has come here, she is so happy and well looked after. Everyone here is fantastic, I can see a huge difference in her becoming back to her normal self.

My dad is receiving very considerate care, the staff look after him flawlessly. I am very happy he is in such good care. Although it is very sad to visit and sit with my Dad, the staff have allowed me to do so even during meal times.

Mum has been in De Baliol for one month and seems to have settled in well, better than we thought. Staff are friendly and attentive, she looks well cared for. Home is nicely decorated and clean. Very happy with care my mum receives.

My husband has dementia and after a stay in hospital following a stroke, went into care in April 2023. Extremely difficult time for us all, he so wanted to come home. It's taken a while, but he seems more settled now and accepting of the situation. Diet, speech, mobility are all addressed. He now joins in more, has good interaction with staff. Carers are mostly outstanding which makes the situation more bearable for us all. Only downside is the room size and decor in some areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The team work well and look after my relative well. The home is clean and tidy and maintained. The food is freshly-cooked and very good. The care home seems to have a positive atmosphere and outlook.
