My 99-year-old mother has been a resident for over a year and is very happy and settled, regarding De Baliol as home and the staff as her friends. The staff are doing a great job from top to bottom. They do at time seem to be a little short-staffed, but go out of their way to keep their residents happy
and safe. Really nice people doing a difficult job, yet always friendly and helpful, who could ask for more?

The home is kept very clean and the staff are friendly and very patient. The manager is very approachable. The atmosphere in the home is friendly. The care is genuine. Concerns are taken seriously and dealt with. The residents are well looked after and their clothing and rooms are kept clean.

The care provided at De Baliol is very good and has been consistent since my dad first came here 9 or so months ago. The staff are friendly and caring despite their busy workload. It is important to my family, knowing that when we leave after visiting. my dad is safe and looked after.

My dad is receiving very considerate care, the staff look after him flawlessly. I am very happy he is in such good care. Although it is very sad to visit and sit with my Dad, the staff have allowed me to do so even during meal times.

Mum has been in De Baliol for one month and seems to have settled in well, better than we thought. Staff are friendly and attentive, she looks well cared for. Home is nicely decorated and clean. Very happy with care my mum receives.

My husband has dementia and after a stay in hospital following a stroke, went into care in April 2023. Extremely difficult time for us all, he so wanted to come home. It's taken a while, but he seems more settled now and accepting of the situation. Diet, speech, mobility are all addressed. He now joins
in more, has good interaction with staff. Carers are mostly outstanding which makes the situation more bearable for us all. Only downside is the room size and decor in some areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with this care home. The staff are very friendly and give good standards of care for my mum. The management is all on the ball. When I have had two or three complaints over the last seven years, the management sorts it out straight away and never makes you feel uncomfortable about complaining.
Even though Mum doesn't take part in many activities, I am very impressed with the activities they get.

My mum has been in De Baliol Care Home since the 27th of March 2023, it's a big step for her since having an operation. The staff at De Baliol Care Home has been so supportive, every one of the staff has been great. They have kept me informed every day if there has been any change in my mum and what
they have done. I visit every day where I can, they also keep me up to date by phone. So far I would like to thank all the staff for the hard work they do looking after my mum.

We have no problem with the care my husband gets in De Baliol Care Home. The staff are very friendly and I and my two sons always get a warm welcome when we arrive. He is very well looked after and we couldn't ask for any better care. If there are any concerns with him, the staff phone to tell us. I
