The centre provides residential care for people who need support with everyday activities such as washing, dressing or eating, as well as keeping on top of taking regular medications. Thanks to the staff it's very pleasant.
It's a lovely airy home.
If I have a problem it's usually put right quickly.
My husband has had the best of nursing care and is very comfortable.
The staff here care for their residents 24/7.

Because I live about 170 miles away and visit my aunt at Northlea only about once a month, I do not have a proper view of how a typical day or week is spent there. All the residents I have seen upstairs appear well cared for, appropriately dressed, clean and well fed. My aunt's room is always clean
and tidy, bed made, although her pictures and framed photos have still not been mounted on the wall, and some of the clothes are not hers. There are activities noted on a board and I have seen photographs of my aunt taking part in some of these.


My aunt settled in well (she has been there 9 months and 2 years in Beacon). She is calmer now and her hair is nicely cut and washed, a reflection of her calmer attitude.

Room could sometimes be cleaner that it is, bedding and sides of the bed could sometimes be cleaner.
Staff are good, I don't know what residents get to eat.

I've put good for food and drink and activities as my sister-in-law is not taking part at the moment, but from what I can see, everybody seems to be happy.
The best thing from my husband and my personal point is that my sister-in-law is safe and cared for. We have a full night sleep as she no longer
rings us at night now she is settled.
Well done to all the staff at Northlea Court Care Home.

My mother has been a resident for 3 months. During this time she has been looked after extremely well and the family are happy with her care and well-being. She is aged 94. Any concerns or queries we have raised were dealt with immediately and effectively.


All of the staff are professional, kind

and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. Mum seems quite happy and content, not always easy!

A very homely and friendly care home. My mother moved here as a result of a former home closing down, the transition as seamless and she settled in immediately. The care quality is second to none and we feel confident and extremely comfortable that the care provided is very good. The staff are very
friendly and attentive and I would have no hesitation in recommending Northlea Court to others.

My mother has recently been transferred from another home due to closure. The move went very smoothly, and the staff have ensured her anxiety to be minimum. The manager has her finger on the pulse on all matters in the home, also retaining the staff (familiar to the residents) has been a very wise move.
I've noticed how all of the residents from her previous home have settled well. The home has a very calm and homely feel, which helps to make residents families confident with their care.

After a massive stroke I placed my wife into Northlea Court Care Home. The home is clean, tidy and pleasant. She has a nice room and is warm and comfortable. The staff are kind and friendly and helpful. There are a number of activities provided by the staff.

My auntie has been in this home for nearly four years and I am very pleased that she is such a caring, warm and humorous environment. The staff are friendly, attentive and treat the residents with dignity and love. I cannot praise this home highly enough when they continue to show such dedication in

Job Title: Home Manager at Northlea Court Care Home, Cramlington

Sandra qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1994 and dived straight into the care sector. She has gained a wealth of knowledge from her various roles, including Deputy Manager and Home Manager. Sandra left the business for a year in 2011 before returning as a Home Manager: she has been in her current post at Northlea Court for 10 years. When not at work, Sandra enjoys making and decorating cakes, and her favourite summer hobby is visiting her caravan in Northumberland every weekend.
