South Bebside Care Home

My mam has been in the home for two years. Found the staff are very helpful and considerate. I know that my mam has settled in well and is really happy, as she knows that there is always 24-hour care if she needs it.

My daughter is a resident, but because of Covid-19 and that I don't live in the area, I have never visited the home, so I can only rate on hearsay from her. My daughter is happy and comfortable, and well looked after and has no complaints.

The care that my mother receives in Sout Bebside is excellent. The management and staff will listen to any concern, and any contact is swift regarding my mother. We, as a family, have peace of mind that my mother is in good hands.

My dad had to leave when the home ceased being a nursing home, which upset both of us at the time. Once my dad was discharged from hospital care, he was eligible to return, so without hesitation, we arranged for his return to South Bebside. The staff welcomed him back with banners and balloons, which I thought was a lovely touch. I would like to give a special thanks to the manager, who has supported me and Dad. She always seems to go that extra mile for everyone.

Since my husband moved into South Bebside in May 2020, I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The dignity afforded to and the respect shown to residents is marvellous. The care, good humour and kindness is genuine. No effort is spared in making people feel at home. My husband is so very happy and settled. I cannot thank you all enough for all you do.

I thank them all and can't express how much they all work so hard to get things right.

South Bebside provides a level of care which is exceptional. The staff at this home are the real asset, supported by the first class living environment which makes visitors and residents feel "at home". The nursing care which my husband received was wonderful. Thank you.

Mam was admitted for end of life care, lasted far longer than expected and we only saw excellent care with dignity. We as a family were recognised form the outset and made very welcome. Only negative was a comment made by a friend of Mam's who was there when she spilt her juice and when a member of staff was informed, said she would be seen to soon but it wasn't a priority. We never experience this though.

After her death, we were treated so well. A wonderful place to be.

All the care staff that I have come into contact with have gone above and beyond to care for and meet the holistic needs of my father. I have been into the home at varying times of the day and evening, the staff have always been observed to have been very busy dealing with clients' needs but have always made time to talk to and deal with enquires of both visitors and clients. All of the staff have been observed to treat clients with dignity and respect and nothing is to much trouble to them.

I have found staff to be helpful, friendly and courteous at all times. Mum has settled well and enjoys the fuss they make of her. Food is always of a good standard. Staff have been a great help to me during mum's transition.

Very happy with the care my grandma receives especially with regards to the entertainment. The entertainment lady goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy and she always goes the extra mile.

I'm a happy teddy in this home great activities and entertainment is lovely. I'm looked after well.

Friendly and caring staff who focus on the residents. Plenty of group activities.

I am grateful for the care given to my father. My father is happy and it is good to see he involves himself in the never ending activities in the home. Well done for having the patience and dedication to entertain my father and keeping him active and happy.
