The nursing staff are good.
While I have only been here a short time, I have only the utmost respect towards all members of staff. No matter what you may be suffering from, and also the fact you are also away from family, each member of staff is always on hand to 'make' life being there and to comfort your needs and worries. I personally have the greatest 'thank you' to you all, who have taken the time to care for everyone here, especially myself.
The carers are excellent with mum and she loves the home.
Staff look after me well. I can do as I please. Nothing is too much for them. I stay in bed a lot of the time but if I call my bell, they are there. The food is enjoyable too.

On first arriving to Preswylfa, I found it difficult to adapt to a completely different way of life. Having hitherto been used to, what may be called an "easy" life, but now I realised that I am compelled to adjust to my new circumstances and the soon, the better. I have, to date, succeeded, in as much as I am happy here. I have numerous friends and carried out some useful tasks which have been much appreciated.
My aunt was very happy at Preswylfa, the staff were always helpful and available. Nothing was too much trouble. Friends and family were made to feel welcome at any time. Nursing care was excellent.
We chose this residence after looking at several. We found the organisation was well. There was an atmosphere of care and comfort and since my sister has been in the home, we are very pleased with the staff and she is a changed person.
