A very friendly and comfortable home with caring staff.
Myself and family are satisfied and happy with the care and dignity our mother is receiving at Southern House.
My mum appears to be well looked after, safe and happy each time we visit.
Do worry how my mum is in her room on her own - what stimulation she has.
Clean and tidy.
I was very happy with the care my partner received. The staff always friendly and helpful, and even welcomed my partner's dog.
Settled in well after initial minor problems. Most have been resolved satisfactorily. Care is very good, care staff treat my husband with dignity and empathy. He feels safe and loved by the people who work there.
I am very happy with the care and kindness my wife receives. She has complex needs and relies solely on the staff for everything and I am more than happy to leave her in their care when I leave my visit with her. Although in recent years life has been difficult for both of us, without the care of all the staff at Southern House shown to my wife we couldn't feel as confident as we do. Thank you all for the care and compassion you give her.
I visit at different times of the day and it always looks well organised and tidy and my dad has settled in well.
A warm welcome and exceptional care provided by staff and nurses, highly recommended. This home is very caring all round and is highly recommended by locals and all whom visit. A very sort after home for all.
Friendly staff, manager really positive and easy to talk to. Would like someone on reception on a weekend, kept ringing, no one answering the phone. The meals looked good and nutritious. The resident needed help with eating and this was done well.

This care home is warm, friendly and inviting. The staff take time to engage with my mum, who has vascular dementia, and Mum recognises them and greets them with a smile. Mum's needs are met with great willingness. The staff are truly amazing.
