Queen Elizabeth Court has a pleasant seaside location and is set in five acres of beautiful grounds. This purpose built Home, which still retains much of its Victorian character and charm, is close to the town and a short walk away from the sea front and golden sandy beach flanked by Great Ormes Head and Little Orme. The Home is a short car ride away from historic Conwy, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

The team provide residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 62 residents.

Our care fees for self-funded and local authority funded residents are subject to a preadmission needs assessment which is a requirement of admission, so the Home can fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. The prices quoted are weekly and for guidance only. They will be confirmed following a full assessment. Respite care may be offered and is usually 10% above the permanent care fees, subject to availability and will depend on an assessment of a person’s care needs. My mother is a resident at the care hom she is very happy and is very well looked after by the majority of the care staff. She does occasionally complain about the food especially the evening meals. Apart from this she is in good hands. My complaint is there is insufficient parking, this is a major
problem and I wish a little more space was allowed for cars maybe a little less grass???

Staff are always very kind and respectful to my mother. All know her by name and they take the time out to talk to her and interact. There is generally a good variety of activities for residents to join in. Admission and reception staff are always helpful and welcoming and always find a mum for me to
speak to on the payphone when I call.

I am very happy to be in the Queen Elizabeth Court as I have supported this home for many years as a free mason. The location is ideal for my friends to pop in. My personal hygiene is looked after by a caring/sensitive team. Unfortunately I can only be bathed once a week due to requiring more than one
member of staff.

We have consulted the resident regarding his bathing preferences. All our residents can choose how often they wish to be bathed and we ensure that staff are available to support them accordingly. We support everyone on an individual basis and can also accommodate to bath residents every day if they wish to do so.

Having not been to a care home before I was unable to compare it to any other. However after spending 2 years and 3 months here, I am now acclimatised to its running and staff who are very patient and expert in their general attitude.
