Our care fees for self-funded and local authority funded residents are subject to a preadmission needs assessment which is a requirement of admission, so the Home can fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. The prices quoted are weekly and for guidance only. They will be confirmed following a full assessment. Respite care may be offered and is usually 10% above the permanent care fees, subject to availability and will depend on an assessment of a person’s care needs. Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006, I have 20 years of experience working with older people in the Health and Care Sector. I have worked at Queen Elizabeth Court since 2012, initially as Deputy Home Manager, and I was appointed Home Manager in 2015.
Ensuring that the safety and well-being of our residents is at the centre of everything we do at Queen Elizabeth Court. It is a privilege to work within such a caring, professional and experienced team.
I have worked for RMBI Care Co. since March 2005, when I came as the Receptionist/Admin Assistant at Queen Elizabeth Court. In June 2011, I became the Business Administrator and now the Business Relationship Manager. I have loved watching the Home I work in develop over the years. We now have three areas to the home residential, nursing and residential dementia support, which in turn means that we can hopefully follow our resident’s journey as their care needs change in the later years of their life.
I have loved every day of coming to work in Queen Elizabeth Court to see our residents happy, enjoying day-to-day activities and living a fulfilled life to the best of their abilities, thanks to the care, empathy and kindness shown by my remarkable work colleagues.
