Queen Elizabeth Court has a pleasant seaside location and is set in five acres of beautiful grounds. This purpose built Home, which still retains much of its Victorian character and charm, is close to the town and a short walk away from the sea front and golden sandy beach flanked by Great Ormes Head and Little Orme. The Home is a short car ride away from historic Conwy, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

The team provide residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 62 residents.

Our care fees for self-funded and local authority funded residents are subject to a preadmission needs assessment which is a requirement of admission, so the Home can fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Respite care may be offered and is usually 10% above the permanent care fees, subject to availability and will depend on an assessment of a person’s care needs. I came here at the end of August last year and I have found everyone to be very helpful. I enjoy walking in the grounds in fine weather and chatting with the other residents. If I can't be at home, this is the best place to be as there is always something going on.

When I arrived here last month I felt really poorly, but as each day has passed during the last few weeks, I have been feeling much better. Due to the great care and support, good food and very good nursing care and great support from all the lady carers and the lovely ladies in the office. As each

I have only praise for this care home. They have been so supportive and professional throughout my mother's care in the last few years.
All the staff in her dementia unit treat her with the most respect and dignity.
We as a family are so lucky to have found this wonderful home and will always be indebted

I am concerned about the security of entry into the home as any of the residents can open the door. The care is very good in the dementia unit. The food is variable and there is a lot of wastage. The drinks service - sometimes the drinks are cold and no saucers with the cups!

Excellent home and wonderful care. So happy mum was accepted here and very much hope she can continue to reside at this home. Loads of activities for the residents to join in with. Excellent choice of food. Carers are exemplary.

I write this on behalf of my mother, 98 years of age and unable to use her right arm or leg. This is her third year of residency in this nursing home. She assures me that she has a happy relationship with the nurses and carers, as do I.
My mother frequently comments on how good their care is. She readily
jokes with the staff and laughs at their good humoured teasing. Being unable to walk or care for her own personal needs, she is not easy to care for but the smiles of both my mother and staff very rarely fade.

My Mother is quite a new resident of Queen Elizabeth Court. In the short time she has been with the home, we as a family have seen her relax and grow more confident with her carers. Her anxiety is subsided and she is on her way to enjoying life again. The quality of genuine care within the home shines
through giving us, as a family, peace of mind and comfort in the knowledge Mum is cared for in the very best environment we could possibly ask for.

I have had a few respite times and enjoyed them very much, all the staff were kind, helpful, then when I had to go permanently into full care, I chose this lovely home and was accepted. All the staff are very nice, my husband was a mason and was hoping I would have a place in a masonic home. He did
everything he could towards widow and children's charities and I have met a lot of masonic widows and masons and have found a lot of lovely friends among them. We have a really lovely activities manager who helps to keep us occupied.

I am pleased with the care given to my husband. The staff are efficient and friendly and the overall atmosphere of the establishment is welcoming. Plus, I am always informed about any changes or concerns regarding my husband. The senior carers are always available to discuss issues as is the management.

My grandmother really lost her independence when she fell and was unable to return to her home sadly. This was a great worry to us as a family. It was such a relief to find Queen Elizabeth Court where in a short few weeks, my grandmother was made to feel at home. With a number of medical conditions
to deal with, I cannot praise the staff at Queen Elizabeth Court - no task is too big and as a family we have complete peace of mind leaving her here. This is all down to the wonderful staff who have mentioned that my grandmother "is ours, she's part of the furniture", which says it all.

The staff at Queen Elizabeth Court are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. The care my mother-in-law receives is of a high standard. The building is always kept in pristine condition and the food is very good. The reception staff and caring staff are excellent ambassadors for CQC.

I was so happy that Mum was able to get a place in Queen Elizabeth Court. There is no other place with the same high standard in this area. She has settled in so well and is really looked after so well. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. Also, the gardens are kept beautifully. Thank you so much.

Fantastic! The care provided was excellent! Nursing staff were first class as were the carers. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone goes the extra mile and it was lovely to see the care and attention given to my father and all done with a smile and a sense of humour! which lifted ours and dads spirits.

have experience of care homes but have never witnessed such care and dedication as provided by Queen Elizabeth Court staff. Thank you! Well done! You're a credit to the care profession.

I feel I must let everybody know who is in the same dilemma we were when choosing a care home for my Father-in-law, after a failed first attempt in one home we moved our dad-in-law to above home. It was absolutely excellent. The care and dignity was impeccable. The staff were amazing from cleaners to
senior members of staff, they couldn't do enough for my dad-in-law and us as a family they were just incredible! We were so pleased we moved Dad here and his end of life was dignified and the overwhelming support we had by all was just unforgettable thank you so much!

Mum is very happy living at Queen Elizabeth Court and has been here for a year, having moved in in December 2014 she has been very well cared for generally with her specific needs, likes and dislikes taken into account of whenever possible. Communication with the family is good as the other closest
(geographically speaking) relative, I find I am kept very well informed of any changes in mums health and general welfare. I am always made very welcome and find the team helpful in coming to terms with mums disabilities.

Father spent the last five years of his life at Queen Elizabeth Court and lasted until he was 102 years old. The quality of service whilst he was in care was always exceptional. Staff no trouble to them with any of the residents problems. This continues to the present day, where we are volunteers on
a weekly basis.
