The care has been excellent in Queen Elizabeth Llandudno. All staff committed to their roles in this home. Will highly recommend this home. I/we hope to return for respite in the future months/years.

My experience with Queen Elizabeth Court the year my mother stayed.
Positives: amazing care with the nurses and carers at both residential and the nursing side.
We did have a few issues with a couple of carers but was sorted quickly.
Negatives: needs a bit of a revamp in places!
Office and management overall make you feel very uncomfortable: Covid situations don't help.
Both reception ladies are extremely nice - thoughtful and compassionate.

My mum had the best end-of-life care there.

I cannot praise Queen Elizabeth Court highly enough. The staff are all lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and they take excellent care of all the residents at the home. The facilities are clean, well-maintained and very welcoming. My mother has made excellent progress whilst residing at Queen Elizabeth Court.

My husband is well cared for and am happy with all aspects of his care. I also find the staff go the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable. The staff also make sure to answer any concerns I might have and I feel welcome when visiting.

My brother is on the nursing side of the building. The nurses and carers seem to manage him well and like anywhere, there is good and okay staff. In my opinion, I feel the rooms could be better if repainted when empty and the telephone system upgraded so hands-free phones could be used and taken to the residents, so contact is easy for relatives and friends.

My mum has never been happier. The care is outstanding, after a very poorly time and Mum ending up in hospital. The care home literally saved my mum's life. The nursing staff are amazing with the relatives as well as my mum. My mum is still with us today, because of the care of the team at Queen Elizabeth Court. Can't thank you enough.

My husband has excellent care and the staff are also very supportive of me. It has been a difficult time during covid, but I am very thankful that he has been kept safe. Thank you to all the staff. As my husband has severe dementia, he is not able to join in activities or give an opinion on food and drink but I do know that he eats well and has a good appetite.

Queen Elizabeth Court provides an excellent environment and care for my mother. The staff are caring and sympathetic to Mum's needs. The resident's rooms are spacious, with ensuite toilet and sink. Several common rooms are available and a good restaurant. The last two years of covid restrictions have severely limited visiting and communal activities. I feel this has contributed to Mum's decline. The home has done its best within the restrictions.

The care my mum receives since being in the care home has been outstanding, particularly during the times due to covid-19. My visit today (above date) satisfied me greatly, the first time I have been inside my mum's room and the home (following guidelines and wearing PPE.)

Standards have always been high, but over the last 18 months, all of the staff have contributed to keeping their residents safe in the most challenging of circumstances. They have done so with professionalism and good humour; not an easy task. Thank you.

Fabulous environment for my mother and peace of mind for our family that she is being so well looked after. Upsetting and frustrating at times not being able to visit and see her during this pandemic, but the care and welfare of the residents are at the heart of this, and so we understand. Great home for the family to know their loved one will be safe and cared for.

Arrived here after just losing my beloved husband, was a frightening experience. I was warmly welcomed. My room is lovely and I was able to bring my special things. Since then, everyone has gone out of their way to help me to settle in. The downside is the food is awful.

Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006, I have 20 years of experience working with older people in the Health and Care Sector. I have worked at Queen Elizabeth Court since 2012, initially as Deputy Home Manager, and I was appointed Home Manager in 2015.

Julie RobertsJob Title:Business Relationship ManagerJoined: 2005

I have worked for RMBI Care Co. since March 2005, when I came as the Receptionist/Admin Assistant at Queen Elizabeth Court. In June 2011, I became the Business Administrator and now the Business Relationship Manager. I have loved watching the Home I work in develop over the years. We now have three areas to the home residential, nursing and residential dementia support, which in turn means that we can hopefully follow our resident’s journey as their care needs change in the later years of their life.

I have loved every day of coming to work in Queen Elizabeth Court to see our residents happy, enjoying day-to-day activities and living a fulfilled life to the best of their abilities, thanks to the care, empathy and kindness shown by my remarkable work colleagues.
