It is very difficult to find any fault at all with this nursing home. The staff are very kind and caring and very happy to help when needed. My wife's quality of life has certainly improved this year since moving into Queen Elizabeth Court.

This is a purpose built home. The layout is excellent. There are plenty of areas to sit and chat to residents. The standard is very high. There are many activities during the week. Music is a popular choice. There are day trips and other seasonal activities. The local school often visits. The staff are very professional and well trained. They are also caring and empathetic. I am pleased my mother is in such a caring environment.

Mum has been a resident in Queen Elizabeth for 2 years. At home, she was becoming increasingly isolated leading to depression. With encouragement and support of the staff she has now become happy and confident. She enjoys all the varied activities and looks forward to Tai Chi, Scrabble etc organised by them and other activity organisers. She is encouraged to be as independent as possible but her needs are always met. Staff are unfailingly kind, polite and friendly, treating mum like an old friend.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to achieve this.

Very good welcome and carers and nurses are very helpful. The choice of food, especially lunches, is poor with modern dishes instead of staple dishes suitable for the elderly and which they are used to.

Thank you for your positive review of Queen Elizabeth Court and the care service we provide. We are sorry to hear that you do not feel the food is adequate for our residents. We aim to provide our residents with a variety of meals and we take on board residents individual wishes and suggestions....

I do not visit very often due to living a long way away. My mother is very needy and I believe her basic needs are adequately met. I am disappointed that none of the staff will accompany her to hospital appointments as she is afraid to go alone. We have no able-bodied relatives nearby to help, so a very kind neighbour volunteers to go with her. Her care needs are increasing and occasionally I have not been informed of any incidents, hopefully, this has been remedied.

Since my fathers move to Queen Elizabeth Court just over a year ago the care provided has been of the highest quality. All the staff are incredibly caring, professional and empathic. Earlier this year, several staff went over and above to help my father attend part of my wedding - something my whole family are incredibly grateful for. Every aspect of care and all facilities are excellent and we couldn't wish for my father to be cared for in a better environment.

The home is to a very high standard, very well run and managed by very caring staff at all levels - faultless. Plentiful in-house activities and facilities. Sadly, although the menu is nicely varied, quality and taste is lacking quite often.

A wonderful "care home". With caring and passionate staff and nursing. Plenty of entertainment, day trips, bus service, tea and cake gatherings. Good food (room service if needed). Although close to Llandudno town, Queen Elizabeth Court sits in its own peaceful grounds, where residents can sit and chat. The rooms are comfortable and private with en-suite for your privacy and dignity. My aunt is happy and content and now calls it her home from home.

I cannot believe the change in my husband's mental and physical health since moving into Queen Elizabeth Court.
For several weeks he had been eating very little, but now he is eating and enjoying all his meals.
All the staff are very caring and friendly and the accommodation is of a very high standard.
It is a relief to see my husband looking so well.

There are many activities and although he cannot join in he has the stimulus of being able to watch them.

Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006, I have 20 years of experience working with older people in the Health and Care Sector. I have worked at Queen Elizabeth Court since 2012, initially as Deputy Home Manager, and I was appointed Home Manager in 2015.

Julie RobertsJob Title:Business Relationship ManagerJoined: 2005

I have worked for RMBI Care Co. since March 2005, when I came as the Receptionist/Admin Assistant at Queen Elizabeth Court. In June 2011, I became the Business Administrator and now the Business Relationship Manager. I have loved watching the Home I work in develop over the years. We now have three areas to the home residential, nursing and residential dementia support, which in turn means that we can hopefully follow our resident’s journey as their care needs change in the later years of their life.

I have loved every day of coming to work in Queen Elizabeth Court to see our residents happy, enjoying day-to-day activities and living a fulfilled life to the best of their abilities, thanks to the care, empathy and kindness shown by my remarkable work colleagues.
