Queen Elizabeth Court has a pleasant seaside location and is set in five acres of beautiful grounds. This purpose built Home, which still retains much of its Victorian character and charm, is close to the town and a short walk away from the sea front and golden sandy beach flanked by Great Ormes Head and Little Orme. The Home is a short car ride away from historic Conwy, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

The team provide residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 62 residents.

Our care fees for self-funded and local authority funded residents are subject to a preadmission needs assessment which is a requirement of admission, so the Home can fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Respite care may be offered and is usually 10% above the permanent care fees, subject to availability and will depend on an assessment of a person’s care needs. Mum has been a resident in Queen Elizabeth for 2 years. At home, she was becoming increasingly isolated leading to depression. With encouragement and support of the staff she has now become happy and confident. She enjoys all the varied activities and looks forward to Tai Chi, Scrabble etc organised
by them and other activity organisers. She is encouraged to be as independent as possible but her needs are always met. Staff are unfailingly kind, polite and friendly, treating mum like an old friend.
Thank you to everyone who has helped to achieve this.

Very good welcome and carers and nurses are very helpful. The choice of food, especially lunches, is poor with modern dishes instead of staple dishes suitable for the elderly and which they are used to.

I do not visit very often due to living a long way away. My mother is very needy and I believe her basic needs are adequately met. I am disappointed that none of the staff will accompany her to hospital appointments as she is afraid to go alone. We have no able-bodied relatives nearby to help, so a
very kind neighbour volunteers to go with her. Her care needs are increasing and occasionally I have not been informed of any incidents, hopefully, this has been remedied.

Since my fathers move to Queen Elizabeth Court just over a year ago the care provided has been of the highest quality. All the staff are incredibly caring, professional and empathic. Earlier this year, several staff went over and above to help my father attend part of my wedding - something my whole
family are incredibly grateful for. Every aspect of care and all facilities are excellent and we couldn't wish for my father to be cared for in a better environment.

The home is to a very high standard, very well run and managed by very caring staff at all levels - faultless. Plentiful in-house activities and facilities. Sadly, although the menu is nicely varied, quality and taste is lacking quite often.

A wonderful "care home". With caring and passionate staff and nursing. Plenty of entertainment, day trips, bus service, tea and cake gatherings. Good food (room service if needed). Although close to Llandudno town, Queen Elizabeth Court sits in its own peaceful grounds, where residents can sit and chat.
The rooms are comfortable and private with en-suite for your privacy and dignity. My aunt is happy and content and now calls it her home from home.

I cannot believe the change in my husband's mental and physical health since moving into Queen Elizabeth Court.
For several weeks he had been eating very little, but now he is eating and enjoying all his meals.
All the staff are very caring and friendly and the accommodation is of a very high standard.
It
is a relief to see my husband looking so well.
There are many activities and although he cannot join in he has the stimulus of being able to watch them.

The love, support and nursing care are excellent at Queen Elizabeth Court. It is a difficult decision moving to a care home environment, but my mother has discovered a new positive and dignified place to live where she has every aspect of health looked after.

Queen Elizabeth Court is an extremely pleasant and light home and the recent renovations to the communal lounge and library confirm this.


All the members the staff are very friendly, helpful and caring whilst showing respect for the residents. They have been very accommodating of my father's needs

and insecurities during his recently move there. A lovely atmosphere.

My father has only recently moved to Queen Elizabeth Court, initially on a respite basis which has become permanent.
Unfortunately, he has had a few health issues resulting in a prolonged hospital stay. this has made him a little unsettled therefore he has struggled to adapt and appreciate his ability
to cope.
However, the staff/care/support has been very good and our first impressions are very good and I know he is being looked after.
