My mum and dad have been residents since early October 2021. It was in the COVID19 pandemic and my sister was not sure it was the right home for them. Sadly, we lost our dear dad last weekend. The staff were amazing, so kind and compassionate, their care ensured his passing was peaceful and dignified. My sister and I are now confident that Mum is in the right place. We wouldn't want her anywhere else. Thank you dear staff, you make such a difference!
Thankyou for your kind review, the staff team will be delighted.
The care are attention she receives from the staff is excellent and cannot be faulted.
Thanks for your review., the team will be pleased with your feedback.
Firstly after choosing this home, I had numerous questions, thankfully the staff answered all of these to make me at ease. From the first day my mother arrived, they made her feel comfortable and I was able to decorate her room to make it feel more homely with her own possessions.
Her dietary needs were met by the kitchen staff with my mother's likes and dislikes.
I couldn't thank the Care Staff and nurses enough for their help, patience, and understanding toward my mother. And their friendly attitude towards me as a family member.
My only derogatory comment would be towards the Manager of the home, as in the 2 yrs my mother was a resident, there was a turnover of 4 managers. This had an impact on every aspect of the home, staff, and residents.
This I assume has now been rectified and long may it continue.
The diligence of the staff is and has been at the forefront of this home.
Thank you for your review - the staff team will be pleased.
My father received excellent care during his stay. I cannot fault anyone. I would recommend it to everyone. The girls were excellent! We are sorry to leave, but we have to move on. Once again, my thanks to everyone.
Many thanks for your kind words, the hard working team will be delighted!
All staff extremely helpful and caring. Home very clean. Very pleased with all aspects of care.
Many thanks for your kind review, the hard-working team will be delighted.
Everyone is polite and caring every time I visit, which in turn gives me and my family peace of mind as we know our mam has the best quality of life with friendly caring staff.
Many thanks for your lovely review. The hard-working staff team members will be delighted with your feedback.
When I knew my husband had to go into a nursing home, I was scared because I have heard about so many bad experiences that people have had in nursing homes. I tried to keep an open mind and judge for myself. It wasn't easy at first for my husband or myself, but the staff were patient and understanding. I had a lot of support from the staff - they were good. The management there are excellent and there is a good team spirit.
Many thanks for your kind review. Your positive comments will be fed back to the hard-working staff team who will be delighted.
My brother has complex medical problems but the staff at Mill View have worked to accommodate him and make him feel at home. The staff have kept his family well informed and made us feel welcome at every visit. I cannot thank them enough.
Many thanks for your kind review - the hardworking team and management will be delighted that you are pleased and your brother is being well cared for.
My mum has been a resident at Mill View for over two months and whilst she has been here, all the staff have been more than helpful every time I have asked for anything. Nothing has been too much trouble and anything asked for to help Mum has been fetched immediately. Mum has always been very well looked after and I have never visited her and found her needing to be washed or not changed. I visit anytime during the day, even up until midnight. Thank you all so much.
Thank you for your kind review, the hard working staff team and management are delighted you and mum are happy, we always strive to improve our care.
The residents are always clean and seem very happy and the staff seem very caring and helpful to residents friend and relatives.
I visit someone here and I have always found it very good.

I have been visiting Millview for quite a while now and I am satisfied with the care my Auntie is receiving.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our home, we are very pleased that your Aunt enjoys living in our home.
My relative has been a patient at this home for some 5 years. In this time we have been satisfied with all that has been done, although there has been a blip re leadership it is now hopefully been resolved. At no time has our relative been unhappy. The staff throughout have always been caring, We look forward to a continuing place of contentment.
Thank you for your kind review. We at Mill View are extremely pleased that your relative has been content during their time living in Mill View.
You can not fault the home, the staff, everyone, the cleanliness. They have lovely entertainment - whenever we come there is something going on. We find the staff friendly and open, even though my sister is not always aware, the staff always take time to include her in the activities. I can not praise them highly enough, they are all my heroes.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will make sure all the staff are aware of your lovely comments. It is our pleasure to look after your sister, we are thrilled you are happy with our home and the service we provide.
My mother has been in Mill View Care Home for almost three years and since being a resident there she has improved 100%. She enjoys the company of other residents and enjoys the meals she receives. She also enjoys the banter with the carers although she can be feisty, one of the reasons she has attained 100 years of age.
We are very pleased that your mother has improved under our care and see this as a testimony of our care teams commitment and dedication to their role.
We will ensure that our care team are made aware of your kind words.
Unfortunately, she only had a couple of months, but the time spent there, staff were lovely and she was well-looked-after.
On the night she died, the staff informed us, and as we had a fair way to travel, when we got there, they looked after us offering not only support but refreshments. My brother was with her all night and the staff they came in to offer support.
When she died they treated her with dignity and respect. They also let us take as much time as needed, and chatted to us and supported us.
Although my mother was only there a while, I know she was happy and well looked after.
From myself and my family, I would personally like to say a BIG thank you, you made a very difficult time, run smoothly.
I would definitely recommend Mill View, it's not about the building but the people/staff inside. THANKS.
Thank you very much for your kind review, we are very proud to have been able to look after your mother, and that your mother was comfortable and relaxed with her family around her during her last days.
The staff at Mill View have made my mother very welcome since she arrived and are always trying to get her involved with different activities. A special mention must to a carer.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, the staff here are pleased your mum is happy and has settled in well. I will pass on your kind words to all staff!
Very happy with the care my father receives here. Staff are caring and attentive to my father's needs. And to quote my dad "The good is very good and plenty of it!".
