The care my Mum gets from all the staff down on Quarry Gardens is fabulous. I call all times of the day and night to visit my Mum and they are all busy doing their work with the clients. My Mum is always kept clean and tidy and hair always done. There are lots of things going on and always plenty of
food for the clients. Very happy with the care my Mum gets. The staff work very hard and are always there if I need advice for my Mum.

My aunt moved onto Quarry Hall in October. Staff have helped her to settle well. Staff are polite and friendly to her of our family.
The home is spotless and well cared for.
The renovations to the tea room are lovely and taking residents her is like taking them out to a cafe especially for those in
later stages of dementia.

As a family, we have appreciated the way in which the management team at Quarry Hall have guided us through the pathway of care and support options suitable for our mum.


We have been given time and a listening ear, as we have all sought to keep mum's needs at the centre of her care planning. An open-door

I find Quarry Hall Home extremely caring, respectful, homely and friendly. The staff are very helpful, friendly and inclusive. The standard of care is excellent. The cleanliness of the home is above average from what I've seen and been told. The facilities are very good. Activities are there for those
who want to take part but never forced. The security and comfort we get from our father being in this home has made the adjustment much easier than expected.

Very good security, all staff very helpful and knowledgeable. All residents are treated with dignity always. If there are any issues e.g doctor required, always communicated immediately and in full. All staff have knowledge of resident even if not directly involved in care. The management team are always
available if there are any queries and very helpful. Housekeeping to a very good standard.

Fantastic place! My mum seems very happy, content and settled in Quarry Hall. Staff are lovely, very patient and always have time to talk. The home is immaculate and always kept clean and tidy. The only small niggle I have is that some clothing we brought in has disappeared but I know a new labelling
system is now in place. Special mention to the managers and all the carers who are superb. The activities team are excellent too - always on the go. Oh and the cakes are fab!

My mother is a resident in the above named care home. The care she receives is excellent, she is always clean, tidy and dressed nicely in her own clothes. There are lots of activities for the residents to join in and the activities co-ordinators are excellent encouraging my mother to take part. The
home is bright and airy. It is kept clean and tidy and is very secure. All the staff are friendly and helpful and treat all the residents as individuals and respect their dignity.

My dad has been in Quarry Hall for over two years. He is in the residential part of this home. Since December his condition (Alzheimer's) has taken a turn for the worse and his needs have changed dramatically. I want to thank all of the staff who have cared for him for the last two years and most are
the same ones now. They have made differences in his care plan etc, additional help and guidance put into place to allow him to remain where he is at home and is happy. The ladies work very hard and care for him as if he was their relative!

As a Registered General Nurse, Carla has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at HC-One for over a decade, Carla closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Carla remarked:


“Being able to support and develop a group of amazing Colleagues from all different backgrounds, to become the better version of themselves. With that valuable team, we are able to support, enhance and have the privilege of actively participating in this outstanding life chapter that our lovely residents are living.”


Outside of work, Carla enjoys nature, animals, knowledge, music, travelling, Sci-Fi and her loved ones.
