As soon as you walk through the front door you are greeted in a friendly manner. All the staff are very good and Mum always looks clean and tidy. They always dress her smartly matching colours and accessories.

I think perhaps there could be more activities, for the men's interests. Something like table skittles for instance. It seems most activities are aimed at the women's interests. Other than that, I can't fault the home.

The nursing staff have been great. They were able to clearly identify my mother's needs within the first week of her arrival. She always looks well cared for and the place is always clean.

My mother entered this home fully aware that she was terminally ill. The staff at this home made the last six months of her life so pleasurable and comfortable that I cannot speak highly enough of them. The dignity, the care and respect she received throughout her stay was second to none.

There are no real words I can use to express how much they made my mother’s journey easier for her and the family to endure. The personal touch they gave to everything they did for her was above and beyond anything I’ve known.

If you are lucky enough to be honoured with a stay at this home you will know exactly what I mean.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I find all of the staff friendly and very helpful. There is an aura of a relaxed and professional courtesy demonstrated by all of the staff looking after my mum. It's always a guilty and difficult decision to hand over loved family members to unfamiliar staff. I am content to confirm that due to the staff members I have met, any concerns I had have been pleasantly alleviated.

Keep up the good work.

My mum has been at Quarry Hall for approximately six months. The care she has and is receiving is carried out with kindness and dignity.
Mum needs to be safe and we, as a family, feel that we can relax knowing that she is.

Thank you all.

As a family, we are very pleased with her care.
She seems happy and the carers are lovely and are always willing to discuss anything with us.
The fact that they have the opportunity to sing together with the lovely lady that organises it is a really good idea because my sister loves music and singing it really cheers them all up!
The coffee shop is very handy as it makes her feel as if she has gone out somewhere different and it's easier for us that it's in the building as her mobility is so bad.
The only thing that's not nice is the smell sometimes, would it be possible to have an air freshener?

Thank you.

The home looks comfortable and well furnished and decorated. The main corridor displays lots of photos and arts and crafts made by the residents. My sister and I are not regular visitors but try to go once a month. The staff also put on lots of activities such as Zumba, sing-a-longs which are great, and they all seem to enjoy. The staff seem very good and have a good relationship with the residents. I have one criticism which is one occasion visiting my auntie, she was in an armchair in the lounge and, as I entered, she was having a coughing fit. Though there was somebody in a side office, she was engrossed in paperwork. I had to go and get a glass of water for my auntie.

Both my parents are residents of Quarry Hall. I'm happy with the care they receive there. Mum's been in several previously and there is no comparison. Without exception, they all failed to care properly for her.
At Quarry Hall everyone is kind and genuinely seems to care how Mum is and does their best for her.

She can be a bit difficult to understand but as they've got to know her they've been able to translate and lessen her frustration.

My grandmother has been in the home for over two months now, we as a family have found the home to be excellent. My grandmother has settled in very well without any problems. The home has lovely surroundings and wildlife. The home provided lovely activities throughout the week and also takes residents out on trips. The staff are very friendly and helpful and my nan gets on very well with all the staff. My grandmother enjoys all her meals, also family members or visitors are offered a drink and cake/biscuits. Family pets are very welcome into the home which makes my nan smile.

My Mum has been a Dementia resident of this home for 2 years now. Throughout, the staff have been caring and attentive. They do a difficult job, very well. Management is very accessible. All staff have been friendly and supportive to the family. Regular activities are organised and Mum particularly enjoys the Friday singing. Cleanliness is good. The staff take care to help mum dress as she would wish to be. Her room is always clean and tidy.

My mother is new to Quarry Hall and needs a dementia nursing resource. The transition from hospital has naturally been difficult for her at the age of 91 and she has presented some challenges.
I have been very impressed by the staff who have tried hard to understand and meet her complex needs. She relates well to them and they have been extremely kind and caring.

The management is excellent and always available, approachable and looking to resolve any issues as they arise.
