Glais House Care Home

Really enjoyed the food, nice having a room reserved to share with family.

My sister who has advanced dementia is a resident at Glais House, we viewed several nursing homes before we were lucky enough to find this one. Infact my sister and I cried when we came to view with my brother-in-law with relief. All the staff from the Manager, nurses, carers, laundry, cleaner + all other support staff have provided outstanding care + support to my sister. Even though they are working in the most challenging of settings I have not found one person that isn't ready to help with a smile + words of encouragement

Staff were really friendly. It was my mother in laws birthday. Staff made a lovely occasion of it with a lovely birthday cake tea coffee etc. We had the conservatory to ourselves with all the family. Thanks so much xx

I would like to give my review of Glais House nursing home based on my observations of how my wife is being cared for firstly I must say the staff at all levels are absolutely fantastic with the way they conduct and carry out their dutys they are so caring to all and nothing is to much trouble if you require any help or assistance. I could not single any individual as all the staff are just as comitted as each other. The home is always kept clean and fresh and the outside is immaculate. The management team are very approachable with any issues and always at hand.

I have found all staff very courteous - polite and respectful. They are doing a marvellous job - and gives us as a family peace of mind.

Lovely staff, clean home, ideal for respite for mum unfortunately mum was not at the same level as some of the other residents so found it difficult to settle. The staff looked after her well and it was ideal for our needs.

My mother receives really good care, it has been lovely to see her improve in the last few months.

We've just watched a panto show with my nan and it was great. They try very hard to keep residents entertained and happy. Very impressed with the level of care.

The care home is always clean and tidy. Management friendly and approachable. The staff always friendly and can't do enough to help in any way and give him any attention he may need. His room is always spotless and he is always clean and tidy.

My mum has been a resident for almost a year now and I am very happy with the care she has received. The staff are very friendly & take good care of her. The evening meals could be better with more warm food varieties, but she loves her Friday fish & chips! More local trips out would be nice when the weather is good, even if it's just around the block. Overall, very pleased that my mum is in Glais House.

My mother-in-law has lived in Glais House for 18 months and she is treated with dignity and respect. The staff are wonderful and very caring. We as a family are very happy with her care here.

My mum has been in Glais House for 18 months, The care has been excellent. The staff are exceptional, hard working and friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend. Currently sitting with my mum and my wife enjoying a Summer fete, just one of the many well organised events for the residents.

Since moving in our uncle has had amazing care. All staff & residents have been welcoming. We can't wish for a better home.

My husband has been in the care of Glais house for nearly a year and throughout this time he has received wonderful treatment. His needs are seen to in a kind and friendly way and with a smile. I am greeted like an old friend and we exchange a few Welsh phrases too! My husband has settled here and is very happy.
