The food is of a high quality and with good choices. My mum is especially fond of the desserts. The management have done a terrific job in difficult circumstances - ongoing building works - which are now complete. I would like to see an additional lift in place to avoid the problems with having only 1 lift

Our mother moved into St Mark's Court in April 2026 and the care she received was exemplary. Her accommodation was extremely clean and she received the best care and support. The staff at St Mark's are exceptional - from the cleaners to senior management. When our mother sadly entered an end of life pathway, the entire team were exceptional, going over and above to support our mother and us, her family members.
It is wonderful to know that our team, from housekeeping and care staff to senior...

My mother has settled into the home, it's all new to her and her family as she previously lived in sheltered accommodation, but due to a fall and a long stay at hospital she was not safe to be on her own anymore. It's taken a while for her to adjust but she has now settled in with the routine of the nursing home. The staff are friendly and helpful and treat her with respect. The food is cooked on site and is always nice. Any problems have been reported to the management and dealt with promptly. I would recommend this home to families with elderly relatives.

Dad moved into St Mark’s Court early Jan 2020, and we were concerned that we had made the ‘right choice’ for him - we need not have worried in the least as Dad has been extremely happy there. We have been extremely happy with everything offered to Dad including care, support, friendship and a great sense of community so often lacking everywhere these days! Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have not been able to see as much of Dad as we’d have liked, but fully applaud how effectively the manager and staff have struck the correct balance between keeping our loved ones safe but also keeping us in touch with them! Summer 2020 saw regular ‘garden visits’ managed and the weather was kind too! Staff always supported voice or video call for us families to keep in touch with loved ones. Sorry to say, we lost Dad in Jan 2021, but the manager and staff did all possible to support Dad and us through this sad time, and Dad passed peacefully. Fully endorse this as a great care home!
Thank you for your feedback in relation to St Mark’s Court Care Home, your comments really are welcomed. Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback.
From the bottom of my heart thank you for all the care and support you provided to my mum.
Thank you for your very kind words. Positive feedback like this is really uplifting for our staff. It was a pleasure looking after your mother, and we send our best wishes to your family.
