Avenue Road is a wonderful place, caring and compassionate. I have no concerns and all the staff are friendly and very detailed updates. Location is nice and home is spotlessly nice and everything is excellent. I recommend this beautiful place and all people to spend time in this perfect place before
the end of life.

My mum was admitted to Avenue Road a few years back and she enjoyed the service they were providing. We are very pleased with the service, very good caring staff, always delicious food and homely environment.

I am an experienced and dedicated care professional with extensive knowledge of the care sector, including several years in managerial roles. My passion lies in providing high-quality care, supporting both residents and staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.


I joined Avenue Road in October 2024 and have since played a key role in developing the team, enhancing training standards, and improving overall knowledge. Residents at the home are my top priority, and I take pride in ensuring their needs are met to the highest standards, fostering a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.


Before this, I worked in another care home where I managed a range of complex and challenging situations. Upon taking on the role, the home was under special measures, and my primary objective was to bring it up to standard. I am proud to have led the home to achieve a "Good" rating in our latest CIW report, alongside successfully increasing occupancy from approximately 30% to full capacity.


As a forward-thinking and energetic leader, I am always setting new goals to achieve. I believe in striking the perfect balance between leadership and teamwork, continuously developing both professionally and personally. I am committed to driving excellence in care and further advancing my career within the sector.
