The local GP provides excellent and respectful care and an out of hours locum service is used by staff at night and weekends. I am always greeted with unfailing courtesy and cheerfulness and as I am physically disabled, helped as well. Help is always available to feed my husband and enable him to drink, and to attend to his nursing care. I am phoned at home if any emergencies arise with him. It is certainly due to this care that I still have him. Thank you all.

Ingrid has been at the Rhallt since January 2023. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 2006 and as a Specialist District Nurse in 2014. Having worked in the NHS for 18 years, Ingrid completed her MBA in 2019 and moved into the private sector. Ingrid previously worked at the Rhallt as Deputy Manager and when the General Manager position arose she was keen to return and work with the wonderful team at the Rhallt.

Amy started at the Rhallt in June 2023. At her previous home, Amy headed up a newly commissioned Dementia Unit and has a passion for both Dementia and General Care. With a background in both administration and care, Amy inspires the care team to drive quality and ensure our residents are cared for and living their best lives.

Nicola, a dedicated Registered General Nurse, has been with The Rhallt for six years. Her extensive experience across diverse care settings makes her an invaluable source of knowledge and support on the floor.

Jo is a Registered Mental Health Nurse who works on the Breidden Unit, our Dementia Floor. Jo has worked at the Rhallt for over 10 years and gives us an invaluable perspective into the management of Dementia and other mental health-related conditions. Jo is hugely passionate about the equity of care and is leading the development of complementary therapy within the home.

Karen leads the care team at Breidden, our Dementia Unit. She has worked at the Rhallt for 20 years and is an award-winning team leader, having scooped the award for ‘Changing the lives of those we care for’ at the Lovett Annual Care Awards in 2023. Karen is our Dementia Champion and is a real advocate for our residents.

Keisha has recently transferred from an Activities Coordinator role to a Senior Carer role, having been a Carer previously at The Rhallt. She is very popular with our residents and takes pride in going the extra mile no matter what task she takes on.

Lynne is a Registered General Nurse who has worked at the Rhallt on Breidden Unit for over 10 years. Having worked in a variety of settings during her career, Lynne is a wealth of knowledge on the floor.

Sadie and Cristina are both Registered General Nurses. Between them, they have over 40 years of service at the Rhallt and are passionate about outstanding patient care in Castell Coch, our General Nursing Unit.

Nicholle has worked at the Rhallt for 4 years, she recently transferred from a Senior Care role to Reception where she greets visitors and directs calls to the care floors as well as supporting the administration function within the home.
