Fairview House is a purpose-built home that provides 24-hour nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia in the dedicated Memory Lane Community. The highly skilled and compassionate staff work hard to ensure Fairview House is not an establishment, but a home, with high quality care centred around the specific needs of each resident.

Fairview House is conveniently located close to plenty of local amenities and is within each reach of the beautiful Dee and Don countryside. They believe the best way to judge a home is to visit and see how care and support is provided. So please feel free to drop in or give them a call.

The high standards are reflected in all aspects of the home, including hospitality and cooking. The home also has a wonderful and varied activities programme, centred around the needs and interests of residents. The home provides concerts and church services every month and has daily programmes of activities, such as bingo, crafts, a beauty group and gardening. They also frequently go to coffee mornings in the local community and have regular outings in their minibus.

My sister has health issues that make her reliant on the staff for her every-day-care. It is important to us as a family that her medical needs are met.
I am extremely impressed with how the staff are with her, she is always saying how beautiful and kind they are and so attentive to her needs. The
food she says is very good.
There were some issues with her oxygen that the nursing staff went out of their way to rectify with external sources.
I personally have felt very welcome on my frequent visits and all the management are very open and available to talk to.
The manager has been extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable to come forward if I have any concerns of any kind.
The suggestions I would make is to have some air fresheners, as I’m aware it can be very difficult to keep on top of odours with so many elderly people.
Also, the garden area could be really nice for the non-smoking residents if it was made more accessible from the dining room.

The level of attention and care Dad received while living at Fairview was second to none. The staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was ever a problem. In my opinion, they treated Dad like he was one of their own family, the level of dignity and respect was just amazing. I remember the first
day Dad arrived and how friendly the staff were making him feel really welcome. It always stuck in my mind how they all knew his name and he was barely through the door again reflecting how good the staff were. Dad was always clean, shaved and smartly dressed and the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. Thank you all for looking after Dad, I will always appreciate it.

I am an 82-year-old male, having had a double above knee amputation. My personal, physical problems are self-evident but all very satisfactorily dealt with by excellent staff, all of whom have a natural 'bedside manner'.


Fairview is now my home and I could not wish for better.

I was unable to continue to live independently at home. I needed 24 hours support to enable me to leave hospital.


I have a good relationship with the nurses and carers who look after me, I enjoy the interactions and discussions we have.


I cannot praise Fairview enough.

In the last 12 months, the care within Fairview has improved even more than previous years (if that was possible).
This is due to an extremely low turnover of staff and management and a noticeable higher degree of training and implementation of memory lane improvement which has been done to a very
high standard. Well done to all the staff for the last 12 months.

The quality of care was excellent. The staff were very professional, accommodating and looked after us all at a very sensitive time. I got to know many of them well. They made us feel very welcome. I will never forget the kindness they showed to me and my mum during her final days.
