Overall Experience

My wife was admitted to Hawkhill in September 2015 for emergency respite care, and has been there ever since, since it was subsequently decided that she was not fit to return home. The care that she has received has been superb. Her room is comfortable, and well looked after. The staff cannot be faulted in any way, they are thoroughly professional, and go out of their way to try to make my wife feel 'at home'. They have also been extremely helpful to me in coping with my wife's dementia. All my family are equally impressed with Hawkhill.

Each resident is a unique and special individual; I am hugely privileged to have the opportunity to work in the care industry. Every day brings opportunity, and I want to play my part to enable each resident to know that they have an amazing purpose and find fulfilment in everything they do.

Everyone has a unique set of skills and talents, and I want to help our residents to both utilise and build these. In a great team of colleagues, I want to play my part to the full to help both residents, those close to them and my colleagues all thrive individually and collectively.
