My dad is very settled in Northgate House Care Home. Staff have been great and keep me updated on issues. After a few stays in hospital, dad can't wait to be back at Northgate House which makes it easier on me knowing he's happy and settled.

Mum is always clean and tidy and properly dressed. Her room too is always clean and tidy. All the staff are aware of her condition and her personality traits, they are always helpful to us as a family. The care level is clearly very high and it is reassuring to us, thanks again.

My sister has been in the care home for six months, and she has been very well cared for. She is very settled and happy, and her general health has been much improved. The staff are always on hand and give her great care and support. I am much more at ease now I know she is being well cared for and

Extremely pleased with the care home. Cannot praise the staff/management enough. Mum is looked after very well. Staff/management always very helpful. Can rest knowing mum is being well looked after. Would highly recommend the home to anyone.

My Aunt is a resident in Northgate House on a temporary basis, awaiting placement for long term care. My contact is limited due to covid restrictions but on occasions of phoning or visiting, staff are courteous, helpful and understanding of Aunt's needs. I only wish she was able to obtain placement
here but due to her level of nursing care needs, she has to be transferred.

It's the staff that make this home what it is. I am very, very pleased with the care my mum gets in the home. The staff are fabulous. The people skills of certain staff are second to none. My grandas only been in the care home since December and has settled in really well. Staff have been brilliant through these hard times with Covid and have always been a great support to us. Whenever I phone up to ask anything they are more than happy to help and are always friendly.

Since my uncle has moved to Northgate we have had such a positive experience.
He has full capacity and is, therefore, able to give me his own opinion, he has said the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food is like that of a hotel, and plenty of it. He has settled in well because he’s been
made so welcome.
Anytime I’ve spoken to staff I can honestly say without exception they are all helpful and have so much empathy for the situation we are all finding ourselves in just now. They give an honest update on my uncle, it’s not like calling a hosp where the reply is always ‘doing well, slept well’!

Northgate House was an intermediary care home for my Mum, who already in dementia, had a stroke before being admitted to the hospital. The level of care and attentiveness has brought big improvements in eating, movement and physical health in her time at the home. The family are all very happy that
she was safe and her needs were being well looked after by a welcoming, friendly and conscientious staff. They were always willing to answer our questions and more importantly responded when Mum needed extra support or attention.
