This was my mum's and the family's first experience of a care home.


We found the staff to be exceptionally caring and helpful.


This made her stay much easier and took away the worry and concerns we had, knowing that she was being well looked after.

Can't fault the staff as they do a great job but the management has to have a look into staffing arrangements as they are constantly short staffed, two members of staff to look after ten residents isn't good enough and needs to be addressed.
Rooms are en-suite but with baths, they should have walk-in
showers or wet rooms.
Reply from Helen Hendrie, Manager at Chester Park Care HomeI am sorry you are disappointed with the staffing however, we do use a dependency tool that calculates hours required for individual residents. I am the new manager who has just started here mid-April and it is something that I will continue to monitor and change when required using the tool which the staff in the unit complete. The rooms are all being refurbished in the home and the bathrooms are being updated to ensuite wet rooms. This is a planned refurbishment of the whole of the home.

Highly recommend. My Father has been an in-patient since last December until the present time. The manager and her team have been an absolute credit to their employers. Their caring, professional attitude and their sensitivity to his personal needs are second to none.

This was our first experience of care facilities. I cannot praise of thank the staff enough. Dad was treated with dignity, respect and genuine interest. This a difficult time for both resident and family, and Lambhill Court staff under the team leaders guidance made our time much more easy to deal
with. Thank you.
