Mum has been well looked after in Woodside Care Home and is very content in her outlook. A sterling job was done keeping residents safe and well during a very difficult time of Covid. Happy with the service provided.

My father, who has vascular dementia and is 85 years of age, went into Woodside care home in September 2020. At first, we were a bit worried and hoped the care home was the right one for my father. Well, we need not have had to worry, the care home has been excellent in the care my father is receiving. The care home constantly put pictures of the residents and the activities they are involved in, on Facebook. This is a comfort to us, as a family, as the current situation does not allow for us to visit my dad in the meantime. A special thanks to one member of staff in particular for her caring nature and professionalism looking after my father. The staff are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Woodside care home for looking after your loved one, they will be in excellent hands.

Mum has been in the home for 10 years and I have no question about the level of care she has been given. The staff and management are always quick to inform me of anything I need to know. They treat mum very well and she always seems happy.

Since Covid lockdown, I must be one of the luckiest people to have my mum being looked after in Woodside Care Home. After a visit in September, I noticed that their attention to detail regarding the safety and care of their residents is second to none. The staff are always cheery, helpful and respectful to everyone and they look after my mum as though she were their own and for that, I can never thank them enough. They regularly update Facebook with photos that my family and I look forward to seeing. The building itself is spotlessly clean, smells gorgeous throughout. I would highly recommend Woodside Care Home staff for their warmth and professionalism, their obvious love and affection for their residents, and especially their dedication to keeping everyone safe throughout covid. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you.

My gran came to the home in January, not long before lockdown. I've only been able to visit her twice in person due to covid, which as you can imagine is devastating. The staff have been amazing and through them, I manage to Facetime my gran regularly. She is always in good humour and her main carer is always there to reassure her about the technology and to answer all her questions. I cannot thank the home enough, they have been amazing with my gran and have really put her family's mind at ease during this difficult period. Highly recommended the home.

My mother has been in Woodside Care Home for nearly 5 years. I cannot find enough words to praise the wonderful staff here. My mother is cared for so well beyond the expected professional care. All of the staff are caring and affectionate, the kindness they show and loving attention is unbelievable.
The home is also spotlessly clean, the food delicious, we hear such horror stories but this is a shining example of care. The staff are also caring and pleasant to visitors. During this difficult time, they have been looking after them very well and keeping them amused with various activities. The Facebook times are good as well as you can see that your relative is well and happy. I phone all the time and they say that my mum is doing well and is happy. Cannot wait until I can visit again.

Once again, no one should worry if this is where their loved one is or thinking of going to, I can honestly say they are truly wonderful.

My mum has been a resident for a year. She has been extremely well cared for. She is treated very well by all members of staff who all greet her by name. She always tells me about the lovely meals provided and I have seen the snacks and elevenses and afternoon teas and home baking. She enjoys visiting the cafe. Her room and bathroom are always very clean. I would thoroughly recommend the home and all staff.

My mother is in the Fir unit ane loves all the attention she receives as she can no longer communicate. Her room is always nice and clean and the staff are great with her. She was in hospital in December last year, and when back in the home she was so excited to be back as she regards the staff as her family. My mum is safe and secure in the home.

I have visited the home frequently over the past two and a half years and prior to this from 2009 to 2013, and have always found the staff and management very helpful. The cleanliness of the home is 'second to none' and I would recommend the home as first class.

I came to Woodside Care Home to help nurse my husband in May of 2018. He died on 1st August with great tender care that I would wish for myself hence the reason I am still in residence. There is nothing I would want to change and I can only say, being in my 93rd year, I am.

My mother was in Woodside until she passed on the 9th February 2019. I cannot find enough words to praise the wonderful staff here. My mother was cared for so well beyond the expected professional care. All of the staff are caring and affectionate, the kindness they showed and loving attention was unbelievable, they took time to find out about her and her little ways.
The home is also spotlessly clean, the food delicious, we hear such horror stories but this is a shining example of care. The staff are also caring and pleasant to visitors, and took great care and comforted me in the six days and nights I spent with my mum.

Once again, no one should worry if this is where their loved one is or thinking of going to, I can honestly say they are truly wonderful.

My mum was resident in the Fir Unit for around 14 months following a stroke and suffering from Vascular Dementia. From day one my mum was treated with the utmost respect and dignity and had a great rapport with the care staff. The care shown by staff was excellent throughout her stay and in particular, the weeks leading to her death. I would have no hesitation in recommending Woodside Care Home to any family faced with the difficult task of placing their loved one in a Nursing Home.

The staff treat everyone as individuals and try to ensure that their individual needs are met. I cannot thank them enough for the love and affection shown to my mum and for allowing me to go home each day confident that my mum's needs would be net.

I wish to thank each and every member of staff for the compassion and care they showed to my mum these past few years. She was treated with dignity and respect which was greatly appreciated by my husband and I. We were always made to feel welcome and felt part of the general running of the various activities, which were plentiful. We were blessed when we found Woodside and for that, we thank you for everything that you have done for us.

My mother spent the last six months of her life in Woodside Care Home and I cannot praise the staff, without exception, highly enough.
They were so caring and kind to her and we could not have asked for any better. The care provided in her last days was exceptional and they were so kind and considerate to us as a family.
It was a pleasure to visit Woodside as everyone greeted you with a smile and had a genuine interest in all their residents. We can never thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend anyone who is taking the difficult decision to have their loved ones in a home to consider Woodside as you could not get any better.

We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the great work they all do.
