Burnfoot Nursing Home is an Ayrshire facility from the portfolio of West Coast Care, a care provider of a number of residential and nursing homes that are well-respected throughout the Scottish care sector.
This purpose-built accommodation can welcome up to forty-eight residents with varying needs, including Mental health.

They catered for his every need without a second thought and included Mum and I too, lots of birthdays, anniversaries, valentines days etc. Always with a special touch to leave treasured memories, for those left behind. Dad's final week in Burnfoot was treasured by our whole family. We were able to stay with him to the end and for as long as we needed, after. All the staff and especially the night shift, made sure we were as comfortable as possible. For that, we are truly thankful. Keep up the good work all.

Mum has been able to choose her own interiors for her bedroom and adores it. She is so happy and it means we can rest easy, knowing she is so well looked after. Amazing place.

Couldn't ask for a better home for my gran to live in. She was in another care home before moving to Burnfoot but wouldn't settle. My mother moved into Burnfoot, a few months ago and she is happy and well looked after. She is more settled and happy to interact with other residents and the team. When we visit, we are made very welcome. We are kept well informed on her health and well being and can't thank the team enough.

I hate to see my brother in this situation after being such an active person who cared about the community and ran the Girvan football club for years. He also did several marathons to raise money for local charities as did another of your residents, just a shame they are not in the same wing as...

Her daughter, I was told she has dementia and she's deteriorating so it's not like she will remember today. Am sorry but no one should ever say that to me or a family member. We have to live with her condition every day and it was the worst day of our life the day my mum got taken out of our care!

I was so pleased to see how well looked after he is - smart, clean-shaven and healthy. The attending staff were kind and helpful to my cousin (who was with me) and myself. I felt uplifted and positive after seeing him so settled in Burnfoot.

Hi my name is Eileen I have worked in Burnfoot House since 2017I started as a care assistant before taking up the full time role as Activity co-ordinator. I have an SVQ in Social Services and Health Care. My favourite part of my job is getting to Know the residents and their families. Getting to know them allows me to plan activities to suit their needs and preferences making them feel welcome and at home. we currently have a Daily monthly and Annual planner of activities which have been planned around the residents needs and wishes. The activities include one to one time, Karaoke, arts and crafts, gardening, bingo indoor bowels, golf, pamper sessions and when able we will enjoy shopping trips and outings again. My family are very important to me and i enjoying spending quality time with my husband and five children.
