A great place to live. I like getting out in the gardens and having the nursery kids in regularly is great too.

2. I'm not always convinced that if I make a request to one member of staff about Dad that it gets logged so that other members of staff are aware of the requirement. For example, Dad wears glasses, he has glaucoma and has previously had cataracts surgery. I asked a member of staff to organise his annual eye health test but, a couple of weeks later, when I queried a different member of staff they weren't aware of the request.

A lovely home. I have settled in really well. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There is plenty to do but you can also have time on your own. It’s great we have the community garden now and I like to help with that.

I have found the staff always to be helpful and friendly, the visitor's lounge is excellent with free tea, coffee and biscuits. The building is clean and tidy. One small negative is that there is grass growing in the roof gutters which spoils the building's appearance.

My wife is well looked after.

This is a great home to live in. We have plenty to keep us busy and with the rabbits and the garden, it is really like a 'home from home'. We now have our own sweet shop, which I help serve in. The staff are lovely. I am happy here.

In my experience, my friend receives care suitable for her needs and is treated with dignity.

The staff have been excellent at helping him to settle. I can say at long last he seems to have accepted the situation. He is a lot happier now thanks to staff taking time to include and encourage him.

Since our first visit to Fullarton Care Home, it has lived up to all our expectations. We have been happy with the care our Mum has received. We have found the staff to be so helpful and considerate. Also, we have found the facilities are occasionally high standard. Residents have a great range of activities on offer if they wish to take part.

It is only a few weeks but mum has settled in well and is enjoying the company, entertainment, and nice food all provided by caring staff.

Fullarton has fully lived up to our hopes of being a first class care home for our mother. Every member of staff has been wonderful and make great efforts to ensure Mum is able to socialise to the best of her ability. They are professional, caring and considerate. My brother and I visit regularly and are always made welcome and have always found staff willing to talk to us about Mum. Fullarton conducts regular reviews involving Mum and either my brother or me. We are very happy with the care she is getting.

My mother was admitted at short notice due to her condition worsening at home. At first I was very anxious about mum going into care, however I need not have worried. The staff were fantastic at settling mum into a new environment and they made me feel part of the team, which was so important to me. I can't fault the care and it is reassuring to find such caring staff. I have no concerns and no complaints.

My mother has been admitted recently in the last four weeks to Fullarton. We are delighted with the way that she has come on. She has started eating so much better and socialising also. The staff are so caring and friendly. Mum has already been on two outings which we are delighted about. The staff deserve all the praise they can get. Well done!

My friend has been a resident of this home for the past two years. The staff are so caring and compassionate to the residents. No job is ever a bother to them. Sadly my friend no longer recognises me and can be quite restless at times. However, the staff know exactly how to manage him and they look after him so well. It is worrying at times when you have to consider a loved one or a friend going into care, however, I have no hesitation in recommending Fullarton for the great care that they give. Thank you.

My review if I had to go into a care home I would certainly commend the Fullarton Care Home. The nurses and office staff are all very good and helpful. Thank you.

There has been an improved change at this care home since 'The Kind Care Company' took over, but some things still need to be improved. I think that there should be ongoing training for staff. Some carers are excellent, whereas others don't seem to be bothered to be understanding or patient. Also, kitchen areas could be cleaner.

I would love to know where the residents' kitchen is, we could maybe have a cup of tea with Mum.

The only thing I do not agree with is not using antiseptic disinfectant spray or bleach or spray to make the rooms smell fresh.

Care very good. Staff understanding of residents. Decor suffering a little by comparison with The Fullerton unit.
