Fullarton Care Home, situated in the lovely town centre of Irvine, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing and nursing dementia care.

Fullarton offers many comfortable areas for residents to relax, unwind and socialise. After undergoing a refurbishment in late 2021, the home had many communal areas modernised and decorated to enhance the daily life of every resident.

The catering team at Fullarton understands the nutritional needs of older people and creates delicious meals to ensure a lovely dining experience for all residents and visitors. The home also boasts a wide range of popular dining areas that provide a welcoming space to enjoy meals with fellow residents, or family and friends.

The dedicated and professional care team at Fullarton likes to learn about each resident’s hobbies and interests to design a comprehensive activity programme, supporting those living in the home to enjoy the things they love most. From building relationships with neighbours in local community groups and schools, to arranging sightseeing trips in the local area, at Fullarton, the team encourages residents to take an active role in the Irvine community.

From care assistants and nurses, to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is there to assist you or your loved one in settling into the home. I would like a carer to be in the day room at all times, as one day I went in and my mother had vomit on her trousers.

Charlotte Beaumont

Job Title: Care Home Manager

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


‘Being empathetic, being present for those that require assistance, being compassionate, helpful, trustworthy and considerate.”


As a Registered Nurse, Charlotte has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at HC-One since 2004, Charlotte closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Charlotte remarked:


“Being able to ensure that Residents receive the very best care”


Charlotte has also achieved much outside of work, she raised £2500 for Scottish Autism, running the Great North Run for her son Noah.
Outside of work Charlotte enjoys travelling, especially on her Florida holidays with her partner and 3 children.
