Fullarton Care Home, situated in the lovely town centre of Irvine, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing and nursing dementia care.

Fullarton offers many comfortable areas for residents to relax, unwind and socialise. After undergoing a refurbishment in late 2021, the home had many communal areas modernised and decorated to enhance the daily life of every resident.

The catering team at Fullarton understands the nutritional needs of older people and creates delicious meals to ensure a lovely dining experience for all residents and visitors. The home also boasts a wide range of popular dining areas that provide a welcoming space to enjoy meals with fellow residents, or family and friends.

The dedicated and professional care team at Fullarton likes to learn about each resident’s hobbies and interests to design a comprehensive activity programme, supporting those living in the home to enjoy the things they love most. From building relationships with neighbours in local community groups and schools, to arranging sightseeing trips in the local area, at Fullarton, the team encourages residents to take an active role in the Irvine community.

I write this on behalf of my wife, who has stayed here for the past 6 weeks. Overall, I have found the staff and facilities excellent, always understanding patients' needs. I appreciate that they, at times, don't have an easy job. Everything is run very professionally. Cleanliness - spotless

The staff from the minute you press the door bell are kind and very friendly. What I have witnessed my mum care needs are met. The bedrooms are always clean and tidy my mother is quite content living here and she enjoys the company of the workers when they are working with her. I personally do not have
any problem with the care within the home.

My mother's care has been exemplary in all aspects at the Fullarton Care home. After a steep decline in her health, a care home became the only viable option. Not only has Fullarton dealt with her needs, but it's also great to see a marked recovery in her overall health and well-being. The home is a
positive environment; the staff are caring and helpful, and it's great to see my mum becoming part of the community there.

I was impressed with the quality of care and attention provided to my mum. The staff are warm and approachable. The facilities were clean and maintained. The communal space is lovely and offers the opportunity to have a cup of tea with your loved ones.
Overall, the nursing home provides an excellent
balance of professional care and homely atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, caring environment for their loved ones.

Home staff are genuine in their care for father in a very difficult stage of life. Can never be excellent in a lot of categories as you need more staff. My mother-in-law, who is now 100, has had full care with friendly staff who keep the family up to date with all that is happening. They have patience when needed and carry out all of their duties to a high standard. When visiting, always have time for us too with updates as to how she is doing.

My mother-in-law had a fall and lay on the floor for eight house waiting for an ambulance. During these hours, she had at least one carer at her side keeping her calm and immobile. The dedication that day for her was second to none.

My mum has been a resident at Fullarton Care Home since March 2023. We were both very anxious about her moving into a care home but every member of staff has made my mum and me feel very welcome and helped her settle in quickly.
I visited several care homes before we settled on Fullarton as we were
impressed with the facilities and the overall feeling of the home where it is clean, bright and has a friendly and calm atmosphere whenever I visit.
The staff are exceptional throughout Fullarton, showing a high level of professionalism and care for every resident and their families while being friendly and kind. My mum loves the activities which are planned and prepared throughout the week from the entertainers visiting to gardening and going for trips in the minibus (apparently the banter is great and they bring cake)!
We were visiting relatives today where my mum was full of praise for her new home, the staff and the food.

My husband came to Fullarton on 24th July 2022. He has quite advanced dementia. I was exceptionally nervous and distressed at the thought of him going into care. He has been welcomed into his new home by all the staff team and seems to be setting down well. I feel a great sense of relief because he
is now in a safe place. I am so grateful to all the staff team for the outstanding support they consistently give to my husband. Everyone I have come into contact with has been very kind but also professional. They inspire confidence.

As a Registered Nurse, Charlotte has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at HC-One since 2004, Charlotte closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Charlotte remarked:


“Being able to ensure that Residents receive the very best care”


Charlotte has also achieved much outside of work, she raised £2500 for Scottish Autism, running the Great North Run for her son Noah.
Outside of work Charlotte enjoys travelling, especially on her Florida holidays with her partner and 3 children.
