My mother in law has newly arrived this month to the care home, and first impressions have been very good. The staff have been excellent in the duty of care to her. She has not been eating much, in fact very little, but the staff have been encouraging, and she seems to be eating again, not much, but more than she was. Hopefully, this will continue, and she can start having a proper appetite again.

My mother has been a resident for nearly a year now and on behalf of her family we feel happy to share some thoughts.
The staff are fantastic with her and are friendly and approachable. As a family we are updated regularly on her welfare. We appreciate the attentive care she is given.
We are happy that she is living within a safe, clean and caring environment and this in turn has lessened the stress on us all caring for mum in her latter years.

Overall we are more than happy with the service we have received from the excellent administration, food and facilities and caring and professional staff. Thank you.

Was unsure about what a care home was like. I was shown around, and everything explained to me. Dad is now in his room and is very happy. Certainly helps with the strain on the family.

Very pleased with Mum's care. All staff are lovely and look after Mum well, and Mum is happy, which is the main thing. The only thing I would like to see is more activites especially outside the care home setting - Mum loves outside and would love to get out more. I know they have a minibus but no one to drive it so hopefully before the better weather comes in - a sea trip down the beach or even to the shops she would love.

My husband came into care on 4th September 2025 and has been very well looked after, both welfare & medication-wise. He has begun to settle into this environment, which is a weight of off my mind and our families too.

I write this on behalf of my wife, who has stayed here for the past 6 weeks. Overall, I have found the staff and facilities excellent, always understanding patients' needs. I appreciate that they, at times, don't have an easy job. Everything is run very professionally. Cleanliness - spotless

The staff from the minute you press the door bell are kind and very friendly. What I have witnessed my mum care needs are met. The bedrooms are always clean and tidy my mother is quite content living here and she enjoys the company of the workers when they are working with her. Overall Experience

My mother's care has been exemplary in all aspects at the Fullarton Care home. After a steep decline in her health, a care home became the only viable option. Not only has Fullarton dealt with her needs, but it's also great to see a marked recovery in her overall health and well-being. The home is a positive environment; the staff are caring and helpful, and it's great to see my mum becoming part of the community there.

Home staff are genuine in their care for father in a very difficult stage of life. Can never be excellent in a lot of categories as you need more staff. Could do with painting to to keep property fresh. Although father refuses to eat food it looks excellent. The staff cooperate well together and seem well managed.
