During COVID crisis Lunan Court staff have gone above and beyond to make sure all regulations were adhered to. Results show there has been very little infection at the home. Now that we are able to visit more freely precautions are still in place. All staff have been under a terrible strain but everyone
I have had contact with have been so caring and determined to keep standards high. Somehow we all manage to have a laugh with my mother-in-law to keep spirits up.

Due to COVID it's hard to judge but under the circumstances, staff have worked hard at making sure visiting goes to plan and are very friendly and welcoming. Also, put lots of photos with activities carried out. Overall as far as I can see, doing a great job.

My husband went into a care home to give me a rest and to see how it went. It has now been nearly 6 months where I have been trying to get him home which is what he wants and I am power of attorney. I spoke to the doctor who is attending him, he said it's up to the social worker to arrange. I have looked
after my husband for 13 years with dementia. I would even like him for the weekend to see how he would manage. I hope you can sort this problem out, only once I have had him out. I have never seen the rooms or the place since my husband was taken in.

I have recently started indoor visits again to see my Dad. The recent situation of COVID-19 guidelines have limited face to face contact however Lunan Court staff have found other ways of communication and have always assured me I am up to date with my Dad's care and welfare. Well done to all the staff

I have found the staff to be very helpful and open when asking questions. They seem to be very caring, both to the residents and visitors, and have patience when dealing with both. My father recently passed away and the staff were very professional and kept us updated during this time. We were allowed in to visit him which meant a lot as hasn't been in the home since March. Staff popping into his room regularly to check on him, ask if we needed cup of coffee etc.

My father was in this care home for 5years and I can honestly say that he loved it. Whenever I visit him it was a pleasant experience for myself. The staff at Lunan Court are lovely and always there to help. My father passed away at the start of December and the home couldn’t have helped myself and
sister anymore over the distress of losing a loved one, I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend this home very highly.

I could not get a better care home than this for my parents. Staff and colleagues are so friendly, patient and very helpful. Caring for our loved ones is no trouble. They go above and beyond, even asking how I am doing all the time, so considerate for all.

While my grandfather was only in Lunan Court for a short time, I was very impressed with the care he received. All the staff were very kind and professional and encouraged my grandpa to sit in the social area when he was up to it. As he had lived alone for many years, this was lovely to see. I was also
impressed with how the staff always made an effort to keep us up to date with how he was doing, which was very reassuring.
During his end of life care, it was clear to see that they were doing all they could to make him comfortable and treated him with dignity at all times, while also updating us on any changes. I was continuously impressed with Lunan Court and would highly recommend it.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.
Great entertainment during Lulan Court open day, the band were good and lively.
Residents arts and crafts and home baking were great touches making it feel homely and welcoming.

My mother was here from August 2018 until her death in March 2019. We felt that all the staff were truly caring and kind and we were always warmly welcomed when we came to visit. We always enjoyed the musical afternoons and the Sunday services as did my mother. She particularly remembered her trips
to the museum. What I would like to emphasise most is the loving and kind care she received from every member of staff.

Mother was very well looked after at Lunan Court during the last fourteen months of her life. She had a very nice room into which she brought her own reclining chair, large TV and several pictures and ornaments from home. The staff - carers and nurses - were very attentive and kind and the food was
of a high standard. Staff were all very approachable. The public areas - lounge and dining - had recently been decorated, new furniture installed which was arranged in small groups to provide a more intimate atmosphere and allowing visitors some privacy with their relatives.
