Hi, my name is Catherine and I am the General Manager here at South Grange.

I always try and go that extra mile with our Residents and their relatives, I maintain regular contact with families to ensure that we are delivering the highest level of care and excellent service at all times. I look forward to meeting you when you visit our home.

Pauline is responsible for all the financial administration of the home. Pauline has been in post since 2011, previously working in a Senior Payroll position. Pauline enjoys working at South Grange and finds everyone friendly and helpful. Pauline is available to speak to residents and families at any time.

Hi, My name is Adegbite Olanrewaju (Larry), and I am Head of Unit. I have been with South Grange care home, Barchester Healthcare limited since October 2021. I have a special interest in the care of the Elderly.

I trained to become a registered general nurse in Nigeria over 10 years ago and went further to bag my Bachelors degree in nursing in one of Nigeria’s renowned universities. The quest to diversify and advance in academic and professional knowledge prompted the purse of a Post graduate diploma and a Masters degree in Social work and I now have those qualifications to my credit.

As a nurse, I have worked in so many specialties, majorly the Accident and Emergency setting. I have the American Heart association certification for Basic life support (2013, 2015) and Advanced cardiac life support (2015).

As an academic, I lectured in the university setting as a junior lecturer, published/ co-published over 15 academic papers in reputable journals locally and internationally and very visible on the Google Scholar platform. Some of these publications are on the care, needs, and challenges facing the aged population.

My passion for the wellbeing of the aged population pivoted my migration the United Kingdom to work in an organized residential and care home for the elderly and I have enrolled for a second Master’s degree in Dementia Studies at the University of Hull with the view to further sharpen the necessary skills needed to support the elderly.

Gill has worked for South Grange since 1996. Gill's role in the home is ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. The programme that Gill and her colleagues provide is stimulating, creative and varied.

Gill enjoys the time she spends with residents and families. The team welcomes any suggestions made by residents and family members in relation to activities.

My name is Bernard Taylor and I am the Head chef here at South Grange. I have worked in Europe/UK for a number of years in Hotels, Restaurants and off shore, I joined the team at South Grange in 2021.

The food and dining experience at South Grange is recognised as an integral part of the lifestyle here at the home and I am responsible for managing the catering team.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am the Head of Maintenance here at South Grange. Maintenance is paramount when it comes to our residents, relatives and colleagues, and my role is to keep the home environment to the highest standards possible, ultimately creating a safe and warm place for our residents to live and my colleagues to work. I also manage and deal with contractors, keeping records up-to-date for our audits.

My Name is Nikki I have worked here at south grange since 2014 working with the elderly frail.

I began my career as a Carer and have gained experience and qualifications to progress to my current role senior care assistant in our seven arches unit since 2021

Hi, My name is James and I am a Senior Care Assistant at South Grange. I joined the home and team in 2019 and during this period have gained experience and qualifications to progress my career. I enjoy working and caring for our Residents.

Hi, my name is Julie and I joined South Grange in 2014 as a Care Assistant. I am now a Senior Care Assistant in the home and continue to gain qualifications to be able to continue to develop in the role and my career. I enjoy chatting about my adventures and trips around Scotland in my camper-van with our residents, our Residents love listening to my stories and sharing their own experiences.

Hi, my name is Carol and I am a Senior Care Assistant in the home and joined the team at South Grange in 2015. I enjoy spending time with our residents and getting to know them, it’s a privilege to work in their home.

Hi, my name is Moira and I joined the team at South Grange in 2012 as a Care Assistant, I love my job, caring and getting to know our residents and being part of a team. Since 2012, I have been able to progress to Senior Care Assistant.

Hi, My name is Vikki and I am a Senior Care Assistant on our Seven Arches Community here at South Grange. I joined the team at the home in 2019 after beginning my career in care in 2014. I look forward to welcoming you to our home. Since I started my role in care I have continued to gain experience and qualifications.

My name is Angela, my passion has always been to work in the care sector since a young age, I spent time at the Red Cross with my mother helping out.

I attended college in 1990 to complete my qualification in health and social care. I have continued working with the elderly and have gained experience and more qualifications throughout the years.

Hi my name is Kevin I began my career in the building trade after leaving school, but this wasn’t for me.

I then thought office work would be more suitable for me, but that didn’t work out for me either. As I got older I realised I enjoyed spending time with my grandparents and looking after them so I decided my passion was in doing care for the elderly.

I began working as a care assistant at south grange in 2017 where I gained my experience and my qualifications now you can find me in our seven arches as a senior care assistant.

Hello, my name is Caitlin and I started as an Activities Coordinator here at South Grange in 2022.

My job is to physically and mentally stimulate our residents by offering a range of activities for them to enjoy. I want to get everyone involved and make our home community and atmosphere as positive and welcoming as possible. Making sure that our residents have things to do that they really enjoy doing is something that I hold very close to my heart. It is so important to make sure that they are happy and enjoy all of the activities and events that we host for them.
