South Grange Care Home is a purpose-built home on the outskirts of 'Bonnie Dundee' in the seaside town of Monifieth. Built on the site of a previous farm building, the home has retained the charm of the 'Mill' which is now the main lounge. They provide first-class 24-hour nursing and residential care alongside expert care for people with Multiple Sclerosis. They also offer respite care, including short breaks and care for people with a physical disability.

The Seven Arches is a purpose-built facility within South Grange, providing expert care for young clients with acquired brain injuries, neurological disorders and those clients who need to be ventilated.

The team at Seven Arches works with each client to facilitate a plan of care specific to individual needs and can provide slow stream rehabilitation as well as long term and palliative care.

A team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of residents with a tailored care plan for each person. And their dedication can be seen across the board - in cooking, hospitality and organising activities for the residents.

We feel lucky that our relative was in South Grange, where the wonderful staff did all they could do, for her and us.
The care she received was a comfort to us. Ultimately, nobody wants to place a dear relative in a nursing home. But South Grange made us relax somewhat about having to.
We had every
impression that our relative was their priority and friend.
Everything that could be done, was done by a dedicated and loving team of staff. I would and have recommended it to others, in fact, I'd go there myself as a resident if I needed care.
A fabulous home run by dedicated, beautiful and caring staff.
They made everything easier than it might have been and we are proud to tell everyone exactly where she was living.

Always a warm welcome. The staff are so nice. The manager always has time for everyone. My father is well cared for and is very happy staying in the Seven Arches. Excellent communication from all staff.

My father has lived in South Grange for the past eighteen months. He was slow to settle in after living independently. He is 95 years old and is mentally very astute. The care staff have always been very caring and supportive to all his needs. They encourage him to participate in the many activities
on offer. His favourite is carpet bowls which is a daily event. My father speaks highly of the menu and the variety on offer. He also enjoys being resident of the day and being spoiled. The whole care team offer everything he requires.

All the team and the manager do a wonderful job they are very caring and understand my Mothers needs. Dementia is a difficult disease but the staff are so patient. Everyone is very helpful and I am always kept up to date on her status

Hi, My name is Adegbite Olanrewaju (Larry), and I am Head of Unit. I have been with South Grange care home, Barchester Healthcare limited since October 2021. I have a special interest in the care of the Elderly.


I trained to become a registered general nurse in Nigeria over 10 years ago and went further to bag my Bachelors degree in nursing in one of Nigeria’s renowned universities. The quest to diversify and advance in academic and professional knowledge prompted the purse of a Post graduate diploma and a Masters degree in Social work and I now have those qualifications to my credit.


As a nurse, I have worked in so many specialties, majorly the Accident and Emergency setting. I have the American Heart association certification for Basic life support (2013, 2015) and Advanced cardiac life support (2015).


As an academic, I lectured in the university setting as a junior lecturer, published/ co-published over 15 academic papers in reputable journals locally and internationally and very visible on the Google Scholar platform. Some of these publications are on the care, needs, and challenges facing the aged population.


My passion for the wellbeing of the aged population pivoted my migration the United Kingdom to work in an organized residential and care home for the elderly and I have enrolled for a second Master’s degree in Dementia Studies at the University of Hull with the view to further sharpen the necessary skills needed to support the elderly.
