My mother has been in Catmoor House Care Home for nearly a year now. The care she has received has been exceptional. When she moved in; her bedsores were very bad and the nurses have all but cleared them up.
My mother requires a gluten-free diet, and the kitchen staff have taken great care with this.
The staff have always kept us up to date and especially through the COVID-19; they are keeping everyone's spirits up.
The manager and her staff should be proud.

My father has been at Catmoor for 31/2 years. Catmoor is a friendly comfortable environment for residents and visitors ie. family. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. My father responds to the staff who treat him with respect and dignity. I do believe my father's welfare is being catered
for very well. I was extremely happy with the way the staff dealt with a recent seizure my father had and how professional they were at the time and during his recovery.

My mother has stayed in the home for the last eighteen months and my wife and I have been very happy with the care she has received at all very happy with the care she has received at all times. Since arriving at Catmoor the care and attention shown to me has been of the highest. I've experienced kindness, understanding and patience to the highest degree. Activities are good but unfortunately lacking attendance. The feeling towards staff is such that I regard them all as friends.

My mum moved to Catmoor House from a previous care home and the experience at Castmoor House has been worlds apart, it's so much better in every way. I would definitely recommend it to other families in the difficult position of trying to choose the best place. The staff are very switched on, they know
what they are doing and are professional but also warm. It is clearly well run and organised. The room is lovely with patio doors and views of the well-maintained garden. My mum is still in the early stages of settling in but at least I have real confidence that she is being well looked after.

I am very happy with the standard of care at Catmoor House. My mother's room is nicely decorated with patio doors and en-suite toilet. There is sufficient storage space for her clothes. Her clothes are changed regularly and the laundry is quick and efficient. My mother's enjoying the food and is regaining
some of the weight she lost in the hospital. Most importantly she says the staff are kind and are encouraging her to join the other residents at mealtimes and help her with her mobility. She says, "I feel like a guest".

Mum has been resident at Catmoor House for 4 weeks and has settled very well. This is due to the excellent care she has received and the friendly, helpful staff. She is now more interested in her surroundings and engaging with staff instead of spending her days sleeping. It is great to see her up and
dressed and becoming that bit more mobile. The management team and staff work so well together and are always welcoming to the whole family. Any questions are always answered to our complete satisfaction. Mum's quality of life is much improved and we feel she is safe. A huge thanks to the management and staff for the wonderful job you do.

Every time I have visited Catmoor House, I have been struck by the kindness and cheerfulness shown by all members of staff to residents, often in challenging circumstances.
Catmoor house is also very imaginative in providing activities for residents and celebrating all the "special days" in the year
- Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc.

Any time I, or any other family visit the home, my mother is clean and nicely dressed. She is normally in the residents' lounge and is quite content. There are regular events organised for the residents and my mother enjoys these. The staff all interact with my mother and she is now very settled.

My dad was admitted to Catmoor House in Scone in January, sadly he died on the 23rd of January. The care he and we as relatives received was second to none. He was treated with dignity and compassion. All members of staff were excellent. His physical care was dealt with professionally. The support we
received was something we will as a family remember forever. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Over the past two years, the care our mother received was second to none. She was always clean and tidy despite the challenging nature of her illness. The staff were welcoming, courteous and respectful. The family were always included in any decisions relating to her nursing care management. Her care
plans were tailored to meet her individual needs and choices. Prior to her admission, the family were advised to view all care homes to identify our preferences. Without question, Catmoor was at the top of the list and we were enormously relieved that a bed became available for our mum. It was a painful time for the family but the staff were very kind, supportive and we could not have asked for better care, delivered in a safe, warm and comfortable environment.
