Rockfield Care Home

A very big thank you to all the staff at Rockfield. My mam is a resident for the last 2 years. From caring, cleaning, hairdressing, cooking, entertaining, liturgical and medical needs my mam is so well looked after. As her daughter, it is very reassuring to see that she is very happy in Rockfield. There is a great atmosphere in Rockfield and the staff are always welcoming and I am always kept informed of any issues regarding Mam. From social media posts, I can see the activities that are happening in the care home and it is lovely to see all the activities the staff and residents get involved with. It is great to see the kids from the local schools going into Rockfield and connecting with the residents. The Christmas play was brilliant.

My mum came into Rockfield Nursing Home on Friday 22nd December. She was a bit unsettled the first day which is understandable with new people and a different environment. Over the next few days, she settled, seemed much calmer and happier and this was such a relief for all the family. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they show mummy the utmost greatest respect, they are so caring and mummy is treated with tremendous dignity, they are warm-hearted. She has started to interact with the other residents and as she's quiet, this is great. We can only thank everyone so much for all the care they show our mum.

All staff are considerate and caring with my mother. Some go beyond helpful and make her so content. They are always there when she needs them. She enjoys activities and is very happy with the meals provided. When she has been unwell the nurses have been caring and have contacted medical support quickly. Very clean rooms.

My mother-in-law has a great big room with all her home comforts. She is safe, warm and comfortable.

My mum is treated really well at Rockfield. The staff are friendly caring and polite. They have lots of activities and events for the residents and keep them involved and entertained. She is really happy at Rochfield and I would highly recommend this nursing home. Thanks.

Rockfield is open to new approaches and support Mum using video calls to see her family. Rockfield feels like a family and the nursing and caring staff are excellent.

Overall, the best care around.

My dad spent seven months in hospital and was finally transferred to Rockfield Care Home 2 weeks ago. He seems to have settled in well. The staff have all been very caring, kind and supportive towards my dad and the rest of my family. The manager has been very welcoming and helpful in settling Dad in and ensuring his receiving the best care. It has made this difficult and emotional time just that bit more manageable and easier to cope with. Unfortunately due to a problem with Dad's chair he is unable to leave his room at present but hopefully this will be sorted soon so Dad can join in with the other residents on activities available here.

We and my father were treated with dignity and kindness. We have no negative points at all. We appreciate everything your staff have done. Would recommend yourselves to everyone.

The staff at Rockfield Care Home have been excellent, professional, compassionate and communicated at all times. They are making my mum's last days very peaceful. We are very grateful.

This is my mother's first ever stay in a care home and we couldn't have asked for any better! The staff were very accommodating when it came to her privacy and dignity. I myself found them all very helpful and approachable. Mum had her birthday during her stay and I arrived in the middle of her outdoor party, which included a home-cooked delicious cake. My uncle has been a resident here for a number of years. He is content and happy with the care he gets in Rockfield. The staff are all very friendly and treat him with respect. He enjoys the meals and the patient activities are excellent.

Overall, I am very happy with the care my mother is receiving within your care. Mum is always well-presented and content upon my visits. Mum is very capable of raising any concerns he has with any aspect if her care. The cleanliness of the home is always immaculate and praise should be given to the staff for upholding these standards, as there isn't many homes that don't display unkind smells. Many thanks for caring for our mum so well.

Overall I am very happy with how this home is managed and am extremely happy with the care being given to my mother.

The staff at Rockfield Care Home consistently provide great care to our grandmother. They keep the family informed of any issues that arise and they are willing to answer our questions when we enquire about her. It is a little difficult to comment fully as we couldn't visit but during this challenging time, they seem to continue to look after her very well and provide her with comforts and look after her needs. Thank you.

Cannot praise the staff enough for all their care and attention given to mum during these past months. Thank you to each and every one of them.

I was a resident in Rockfield for 6 weeks. The first 2 weeks as a step down from hospital and 4 weeks respite. The staff have been friendly, caring and respectful. All of my needs from spiritual to nursing to caring have been looked after. I am 86-years-old and would recommend this care home without hesitation - it was also very good to spend time with my sister who is a resident here. Thank you to the management and staff.
