My daughter has been a resident now for one year and to her Warmere Court is her home. That is the best news for me and my husband to know she is happy and settled. She gets on very well with all the staff and residents. May it continue. Many thanks to all the management and staff looking after our daughter.
This is such a lovely review to hear. We are so pleased that Warmere Court is like home to your daughter. We will be sure to pass your kind words onto the rest of the team, thank you.
The staff go above and beyond to ensure that my father is comfortable and safe. I never have to worry that he is not being cared for. All of the staff are professional, warm and caring. They explain everything well and communicate importantly thanks to the family with great tact. I am so grateful for their hard work and endless care.
Thank you for leaving us such a lovely review. Our hard-working team strive to achieve the best care possible for all of our residents on a daily basis. I will pass your kind words on to the rest of the team.
My children, brother, sister and friends who have visited the home and are very impressed with the friendly team, care and cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas. The food smells good and well presented, lots of drinks hot and cold available.
Thank you for leaving us such a fabulous review, your kind words will be passed onto the rest of the team.
I visited Warmere Court for 7 days respite care to give my husband a much needed rest. From the minute I arrived I was made to feel very welcome. All the staff are extremely kind and go above and beyond to support the residents there. There were daily activities such as bingo, scrabble and quizzes, which really helped me get to know other residents too, we also had a live singer performing! My room was kept clean and tidy and washing returned promptly. It was bitter sweet returning home, and I would definitely stay for respite again in the future.
Thank you for leaving us this lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that you had a pleasant time here with us at Warmere. We love putting on daily activities to keep our residents stimulated and it's great to hear you enjoyed these too. Your kind comments will be passed on to the rest of the team.
Warmere Court cared for my nan in her last few months of life; they catered to every need, big or small, with compassion and respect. All staff were informative and supportive. They were great overall, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I appreciate the staff and the care they have greatly.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, they will be passed onto the rest of the team.
A lovely welcoming care home, clean and homely. My mum was here from October 2022 till she sadly passed in June this year 2023. As a family we couldn’t have asked for better care for mum, the staff are all kind, attentive and helpful. Whilst visiting mum I also see some of the other residents there playing games and sitting chatting, all of which looked happy and well cared for. More like a home from-home than a care home.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, it means a lot to us. We hope to make all of residents feels as if they are as close to home as possible in our lovely care home. We are so pleased to hear that your mum had a happy time here with us. Condolences to you and your family.
My friend stayed for respite care for just over a week. The home is bright and airy with a real homely feel. The staff were polite and friendly, and always made me feel welcome when visiting. My friend really enjoyed her stay, and has said she will definitely look to stay for respite in the future.
Thank you for leaving us such kind comments about our home and our team, we really appreciate it.
More than happy for my sister at this home. Myself, I find the staff at all levels are all helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, it means a lot and will be passed on to the rest of the team.
Very spacious, welcoming home. Ensuite nursing rooms are very light and airy with good facilities. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help and answer any queries. I feel my mum is well looked after here. Nice the home has a couple of new pets as well for the residents to have a cuddle!
Thank you for leaving us this wonderful review, we really appreciate it. Your lovely comments will be passed on to the team.
Feel that the home provides a safe and secure home for my mum. The staff seem professional and friendly (most of the time). Have dealt with concerns raised immediately and positively. Mum enjoys the activities put on but needs to be encouraged to go outside more.
Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate it. Your feedback will be passed onto the team.
When I visited Warmere Court for the first time, I was made most welcome by the management and care staff. The manager got a young lady to show around Warmere Court and the room our daughter would be staying in. I told my wife that she was going to be well looked after. From the first day she moved in, she took to the management and all the staff, she has since told us nothing is a problem for them in all the care she needs. In fact, when she comes out with us after lunch with Mum and Dad she says you can take me home to Warmere, that's my home now. So we know she is very happy and content.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad that your daughter has settled in well. Here at Warmere Court, we take pride in making sure all residents and service users feel welcome and we are pleased to hear that this has been the case for your daughter. Thanks again for your kind words.
The wonderful staff are the loveliest of people, who all have the right balance of professionalism and compassion you could possibly wish for your loved one. To do such a demanding, emotional job takes a very gifted person and we're blessed to have them! To you all at Warmere Court, we thank you for making Mum feel safe and for giving us peace of mind while she was in your care.
My mother-in-law came to Warmere Court after having a stroke. She had been moved from hospital to an NHS-funded room until a placement was found. Since arriving the staff have been really attentive and considerate to all her needs. Since she has arrived she has calmed down a lot and we believe it's in response to the amazing and thoughtful care she receives from all the staff. Whenever we visit we are always greeted by staff and they like to chat about my mother-in-law and give any updates they feel we'd like to hear. I am so pleased we got a place for her at Warmere Court.
I have always been happy and relieved with my son's stay at Warmere Court. Efficient staff, friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the wonderful service my son and I receive here. Much appreciated.
My sister and I are happy that our mum is in a place where residents are well cared for and their needs are met. Our mother likes it there and likes the staff who are friendly.
Mum seems settled and happy.
The care home does really well with the staff that it has, I wish there were more. My mum has a requirement for certain foods which I provide, however, I wish the staff would advise me when they run out - it does not always happen. Overall, I am satisfied with the care that my mum receives.
I've enjoyed my stay, forgot the disappointment over his op and enjoyed a 'holibobs'.
The staff have shown me kindness and patience and importantly I've felt confident in their ability to fulfil my needs. All staff from cleaners to manager, nursing, care staff and the chef have my respect for their work ethos. They're all kind, funny, hardworking, patient, conscientious and compassionate. Did I mention funny?
Then there's Charlie. She's fun too. Loves head strokes, sunflower seeds and biting fingers! (Parrots like fingers).
I'll have to go into respite again when he has his op. If I go anywhere other than here, I'll be always saying "they don't do it like that at Warmere!"
I find them very helpful.
Warmere is still my home away from home, and I love it here. The care is always second to none and I have a great connection with staff. The home has supported me and everyone through Covid and have been great. The food is delicious and varied. There is always plenty to do with activities and experiences. The home is a happy and warm place to live, I couldn't be happier here. e

Irene is super proud of what team Warmere Court are achieving day in and day out. She loves her role and couldn’t be happier. Irene wholeheartedly thanks her team for what they do.

I have worked at Warmere Court for 13 years. 3 years in the old Warmere Court and 10years in the new Warmere Court.
I enjoy my role because It is so nice to help and make a difference in the community to older peoples livesKnowing that every time I am at work I’m making a difference and promoting Shaw’s beliefs of wellness, happiness and kindness is what makes us as a team bond together.
I have so many fond memories to choose from, I love the days which involve the staff getting dressed up, fetes, trips out, fundraising days etc.
Qualifications include Manual Handling Trainer, NVQ LVL 2 in health and social care, Nutrition and Hydration Champion, Level 2 certificate in dementia care, level 3 in palliative care, medication trained

My current role at Warmere now includes activity coordinator whilst continuing my role as a support worker. I enjoy working in a care setting and helping to look after and provide the best possible care to our residents.
I decided to take on a role as an activities coordinator as I wanted to be in a role where I could take the opportunity to get to know residents on a more personal level and be able to learn their hobbies and interests, their life stories and experiences etc and to be able to have the opportunity to get to know them and in doing so help provide more engaging and meaningful activities and one to ones that make a difference to the residents lives.

I am also a guide leader in Littlehampton and have been doing that for 10 years which is a big part of my life and have taken Guides all over the world and made many memories. Caring for people is what I do best. I love working within the home and knowing that a small difference in their life makes a big impact. I love seeing my service users smile and knowing what I do at the end of the day is for them.
Every day is a different day in care which is what I enjoy! I have got to meet so many local families and have seen their loved ones at their best and their worst. That is really special to me.
My favourite time of the year within the home is at Christmas decorating the home for the service users and giving them presents. It is a nice family feel to the home.

I am very proud to say that I have worked at Warmere Court for 26 years! Its hard to believe but, I have 11 years here working with Shaw healthcare and 15 years at the old Warmere Court for West Sussex County Council – 33 years in total working in care here in West Sussex.
I enjoy caring for people and making a difference in my community. I try my best to make every day special and worthwhileHaving a close bond with colleagues and residents, makes work days so special, we are one big happy family here.
Everyday offers an opportunity to give me a new best memory, I love the big holidays like Christmas and Easter but, day to day there could just be a little thing you could do, or say and it will make someone smile, and to me that makes all the difference.
Qualifications include: NVQ 2, medication trained

I have now worked at Warmere Court for a total of 25 years. 9 years at the old Warmere Court with West Sussex council and then 16 years at the new Warmere Court with Shaw healthcare.
I enjoy working in the home and Knowing that every shift, I’m doing everything I can to enrich the resident’s lives and keep them all happy. At the end of the day everything we do is for them.
Every day is a special day and that’s what makes working in care great. Seeing the residents smile and realizing the work you do is really making a difference. Its crazy to think I have been here for 25 years. I have met and got to know so many local families.
I love Christmas time in the home, decorating the home all nice, giving residents presents, playing games, it is a really nice family feel all around the home.

Working as a support worker at Warmere Court has been one of the most exciting times for me as a carer. Having the privilege to care for the elderly is quiet humbling and yet fulfilling.
At Warmere Court, I got opportunities to learn and grow to be a more efficient and effective carer based on the Shaw guiding principles of kindness wellness and happiness.
I appreciate all team members who make work enjoyable and easier on some hard days.

Ever since I stepped into this home from my first day I was welcomed by all the team and have felt apart of Warmere since.
I enjoy my role as a support worker, because we make a positive difference to people’s lives every day. It makes my day when I make someone smile.

During my time I have been welcomed with open arms.
I work in leading domestic services within the home, we have a great team ensuring all our service users have a clean and tidy environment. It is so imported that we ensure that infection control is adhered to in a care environment to protect all within our service. Its also lovely spending time with the service users and so rewarding.

Working 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday & Friday suits me and the role really well.
My career has mainly been as an Operations Manager in electronics for over 30 years, however the last 7 years has been spent running my own Farm Shop business which was really full on, especially during the pandemic. My family all played their part but eventually 6 days a week, 10 hours a day was too much.
I’m a fidget and never stop so working at Warmere Court is perfect and very rewarding seeing the difference small improvements can make to the residents, the property itself its surroundings, it’s safety and the staff.
I love a To Do list of which I now have in abundance.
The staff at Warmere Court and the Maintenance advice I’ve received from others in a similar role has been heart-warming and really appreciated.Onwards we go and remember, Everyday a little better!
