My friend for over 50 years moved into the home on the 16th March 2026 for two short term periods and today 3rd July 2026 it is now permanent.

We were all apprehensive for Dads 1st stay in a care home. Dads needs are very different during the night compared to the day Warmere were very adaptable to this nothing was too much trouble. Warmere is a quiet home whilst there are activities Dad found himself chatting with staff more than other residents. Big shout out to Amber. Jo, Sarah, Nicole + Irene

My aunt moved to Warmere in October 2024 from another home. It was quite a sudden/traumatic move due to her money running out. The staff did all they could to help Elsie settle, and she soon got know the staff, and was very happy there. She was 96 and fell ill on Sunday Feb 8th and the staff were so caring and she passed away on Feb 13th. Couldn't have asked for more.

I have been here since May 2024. As soon as I came I knew this was home for me. I was aloud to design my room how I wanted which was wonderful and important to me. All the staff I love to pieces and get on with them all so well. I feel very lucky to be apart of Warmere Court. Meals are amazing, we have outings once a month and enjoy visiting different places. Am very happy and have everything I need and if I don't the staff will always get things I need. Everyone is very willing, caring and compassionate.

My Nan had a rough ride after a fall at home. Many hospital admissions, some good, some horrific. She was put into a "care" home who turned out to have very little care. My mum and auntie fought for her to be moved. We got the option of Warmere Court. The manager was lovely and invited a visit to see the home. We didn't have this in the previous home. It was such a different place and knew instantly we wanted her here. It was like a home from home. Although, of course Nanna wanted to go home, she felt safe. And I was safe in the knowledge they looked after her as I would. We were made to feel part of the care home family, drinks when we needed them and a member of staff always on hand. When it was near the end, they treated us with care and understanding. They had the utmost respect for her and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. If everyone could have this experience at such a difficult time, it would ease many pains. Genuine staff who genuinely care. Thank you.

Warmere Court is amazing. As soon as we walked in we could feel a warm atmosphere, residents joining in activities, there was a lot of chatter and music playing in the background. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager and nurse were always available to speak to. Our mum was only a resident for a few weeks but they certainly did everything they could for her. The food was good, everyone from the cleaners, the staff who did the laundry (who I must say never lost any of Mum's clothes) and the care staff were very friendly and helpful apart from one male member of staff who was in the residents lounge with his shoes off up on a chair, I feel this was very disrespectful to other staff.

My daughter has now been a resident at Warmere Court for just over 2 years. She likes all the staff and management. If she has a problem day or night she gets the help she needs, in fact, she's just had a new carpet fitted in her room, she's over the moon. As a parent, her mother and I are very happy that she has settled at Warmere. She gets on very well with her fellow residents. You have a very good team at Warmere, first-class management and first-class staff. Keep up the good work - 10 out of 10.

My Dad went to Warmere Court from hospital last November because he was too weak to go home. Initially, he was on the nursing floor but was transferred downstairs when he no longer needed as much care.
Although he did not want to be there - all he wanted was to go home - he was actually very happy there. Warmere Court is a lovely, spacious and airy place with kind and dedicated staff and good food. I particularly liked the relaxed approach to visiting - you can basically visit whenever you like so it feels like home. I don't think I ever came across a member of staff who wasn't cheerful, kind and friendly - no matter how busy they were.
Dad came home today and although he's over the moon I think he's going to miss the place - I know I am.

Thank you Warmere for looking after my Dad.

My aunty spent some two and a half years at Warmere and was happy and well cared for. She thrived there after living on her own following the death of her husband. My wife’s sister has been at Warmere Court for around 5 years now. Originally she used to stay for respite, and when the time came for her to need 24-hour care, Warmere was our first choice. Recently her health has declined and we have been kept up to date promptly regarding all changes, and have been able to visit her regularly. The staff are very supportive and friendly, and I can see that my sister-in-law is cared for to a high standard. Although she is unwell, it gives us a little comfort knowing she is where she is, with people who truly care for her. Thank you for everything that you all do, it makes a bigger difference than you know.

We have always been happy with the level of care and support my grandfather has received. Highlighted by his lack of care received in a previous home and the issues he has had with his daughter and former power of attorney, the staff at Warmere Court have been incredible. Whenever he has had a slip or fall I have been called straightaway and when his health has declined recently I was contacted and informed straightaway. I visited at the same time when the staff were having a meeting with a visiting staff member from the hospital and was included in the meeting. Warmere always goes the extra mile for his birthday and even makes available a space the family can use for a small lunch party. We are very happy with the care and support Warmere are providing my grandad.

My nan lived at Warmere Court from 2019 until her unfortunate passing in July of this year. We were extremely apprehensive about putting Nan into a care home but can honestly say it’s the best decision we ever made for her and that’s all down to the staff at Warmere. They are compassionate, friendly and professional and all have a brilliant sense of humour too. Nan would always comment on how much she laughed. The care she received was second to none and the support, patience and kindness shown to us as a family in those last difficult days will never be forgotten.

I have worked for Shaw Healthcare since 2017 and started out as a bank domestic assistant before later becoming a full-time member of staff as a support worker. Within my time at Shaw I also helped out in the kitchen as a bank kitchen assistant.
My current role at Warmere now includes activity coordinator whilst continuing my role as a support worker. I enjoy working in a care setting and helping to look after and provide the best possible care to our residents.

I decided to take on a role as an activities coordinator as I wanted to be in a role where I could take the opportunity to get to know residents on a more personal level and be able to learn their hobbies and interests, their life stories and experiences etc and to be able to have the opportunity to get to know them and in doing so help provide more engaging and meaningful activities and one to ones that make a difference to the residents lives.

I have worked at Warmere court for a total of 9 years this year (November) I left college and then came straight into care work. I was unsure of what care was like as a job role but has been the best experience. I started as a support worker but now have exceeded onto becoming a Team Leader and an activity coordinator. I love the different aspects of my job and giving the service users I care for the best care I can.
I am also a guide leader in Littlehampton and have been doing that for 10 years which is a big part of my life and have taken Guides all over the world and made many memories. Caring for people is what I do best. I love working within the home and knowing that a small difference in their life makes a big impact. I love seeing my service users smile and knowing what I do at the end of the day is for them.
Every day is a different day in care which is what I enjoy! I have got to meet so many local families and have seen their loved ones at their best and their worst. That is really special to me.

My favourite time of the year within the home is at Christmas decorating the home for the service users and giving them presents. It is a nice family feel to the home.

I work in leading domestic services within the home, we have a great team ensuring all our service users have a clean and tidy environment. Jez StannardJob Title:Maintenance OperativeJoined: 2025
I am Maintenance at Warmere Court and joined Shaw in February 2025.
Working 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday & Friday suits me and the role really well.

My career has mainly been as an Operations Manager in electronics for over 30 years, however the last 7 years has been spent running my own Farm Shop business which was really full on, especially during the pandemic. My family all played their part but eventually 6 days a week, 10 hours a day was too much.

I’m a fidget and never stop so working at Warmere Court is perfect and very rewarding seeing the difference small improvements can make to the residents, the property itself its surroundings, it’s safety and the staff.

I love a To Do list of which I now have in abundance.

The staff at Warmere Court and the Maintenance advice I’ve received from others in a similar role has been heart-warming and really appreciated.

Onwards we go and remember, Everyday a little better!
