My relative continues to receive excellent care regarding personal hygiene, laundry care, kindly and attentive and stimulative engagement which is sometimes difficult with dementia patients.
The management and staff are very proactive, the food of good standard and choice.
Visiting is made pleasurable
with warm welcomes.

My husband has been living at Warmere Court for 2 years on March 7th. He was very apprehensive to come into care and as I could no longer care for his needs 24 hours a day, it was obvious he needed a care home. He needs full nursing care and I am extremely pleased with all that is offered at Warmere
Court. The staff go the extra mile to keep him clean and look after him, he needs help to be fed and this happens with patience and kindness.
I have definitely chosen the right home for him and he is very happy with his care. Thank you all who work at Warmere Court.

My husband lives at the moment in Warmere Court since I am not well enough to look after him at home. His care here is excellent, the staff are exemplary showing patience, care and genuine affection. The home is fresh, clean and airy, the food is good and plentiful and his laundry is done daily. If
he cannot be at home with me, I have full Confidence that he is being looked after in an excellent care home.

Warmere Court is a lovely home. Mum is happy there and I don't have to worry about her as the standard of care is so high. The staff are fantastic, always cheerful and willing, the rooms are spacious with an excellent en-suite, and the standard of cleanliness and hygeine is very high. The food is
good and well presented, with an excellent choice and if by chance you don't fancy anything on the menu the kitchen staff will always make something else.

Our Mother was moved to the nursing section of Warmere Court after the care home she was in could not offer the care she needed. It was a massive upheaval for a lady in her 90's but the staff made the transition easy. The care she was shown whilst at Warmere Court was exceptional, we could go home after
a visit and feel secure in the knowledge she was going to be well looked after. Mum became more and more dependent but the staff helped her keep her dignity and a smile on her face.
We cannot thank the staff enough or praise them highly enough.
Thank you to you all
Kindest regards

My wife moved here from home in August 2017, this is the first residential home she has lived in. She initially never wanted to move from home and I never thought she would want to live anywhere but our family home. However since moving here she has settled, less anxious, more sociable and enjoys living
here. She receives good quality care, by staff who are skilled, compassionate, kind, respectful and in the job for all the right reasons. There is a lovely atmosphere in the home, lots of laughter. They have involved me in my wife’s care and value my input and have supported me to let go of the full time caring role I previous had, which initially I really struggled to do. We are truly fortunate to have found this place and could not recommend it highly enough.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.688)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.688) out of 10 for Warmere Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.788 for Warmere Court is calculated as follows: ( (84 Excellents x 5) + (18 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 104 Ratings = 4.788
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Warmere Court is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 registered maximum number of service users is 8, which has been reached with 9 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I have worked for Shaw Healthcare since 2017 and started out as a bank domestic assistant before later becoming a full-time member of staff as a support worker. Within my time at Shaw I also helped out in the kitchen as a bank kitchen assistant.
My current role at Warmere now includes activity coordinator whilst continuing my role as a support worker. I enjoy working in a care setting and helping to look after and provide the best possible care to our residents.
I decided to take on a role as an activities coordinator as I wanted to be in a role where I could take the opportunity to get to know residents on a more personal level and be able to learn their hobbies and interests, their life stories and experiences etc and to be able to have the opportunity to get to know them and in doing so help provide more engaging and meaningful activities and one to ones that make a difference to the residents lives.

I have worked at Warmere court for a total of 9 years this year (November) I left college and then came straight into care work. I was unsure of what care was like as a job role but has been the best experience. I started as a support worker but now have exceeded onto becoming a Team Leader and an activity coordinator. I love the different aspects of my job and giving the service users I care for the best care I can.
I am also a guide leader in Littlehampton and have been doing that for 10 years which is a big part of my life and have taken Guides all over the world and made many memories. Caring for people is what I do best. I love working within the home and knowing that a small difference in their life makes a big impact. I love seeing my service users smile and knowing what I do at the end of the day is for them.
Every day is a different day in care which is what I enjoy! I have got to meet so many local families and have seen their loved ones at their best and their worst. That is really special to me.
My favourite time of the year within the home is at Christmas decorating the home for the service users and giving them presents. It is a nice family feel to the home.

Job Title: Maintenance Operative Joined: 2025

I am Maintenance at Warmere Court and joined Shaw in February 2025.
Working 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday & Friday suits me and the role really well.
My career has mainly been as an Operations Manager in electronics for over 30 years, however the last 7 years has been spent running my own Farm Shop business which was really full on, especially during the pandemic. My family all played their part but eventually 6 days a week, 10 hours a day was too much.

I’m a fidget and never stop so working at Warmere Court is perfect and very rewarding seeing the difference small improvements can make to the residents, the property itself its surroundings, it’s safety and the staff.

I love a To Do list of which I now have in abundance.

The staff at Warmere Court and the Maintenance advice I’ve received from others in a similar role has been heart-warming and really appreciated.
Onwards we go and remember, Everyday a little better!
