Overall Experience

I have two close relatives in Apple Trees and they have both been there since close to opening.

The path through other care homes, that eventually led us to Apple Trees was not a particularly happy one. They had both been in another care home in the area and had very poor treatment. Through a professional adviser in care we discovered Apple Trees, moved both of them into Apple Trees and haven't looked back since.

Of course dementia is a very challenging condition. But the staff at Apple Trees have the facilities, training and staffing levels to properly care for residents, to work with them in a calm and supportive way.

I cannot speak highly enough of Apple Trees. Calm, all appropriate staff know the residents and they CARE.

Overall Experience

My Husband went into Apple Trees for respite care. We were welcomed into the care home as part of a family and instantly felt the support and professional care we were needing. My husband is treated with great dignity and respect at all times and the staff always have time to answer of our questions. Great consideration is given to their dietary requirements and the meals are both delicious as well as nutritious. Every afternoon there is some sort of activity to stimulate the residents. No one desires their situation that Alzheimer's presents but we feel we have second home.
