Grove Park is an excellent residential and care home. The facilities are all first class and the staff are brilliant. My mother had three enjoyable years there before moving to a different home much closer to me, and would not have moved had geography not been a problem. However, had I been closer and able to visit more frequently I would have pushed for more opportunities for my mother to have trips out from the home, for more opportunities to connect with churches, and for more frequent care reviews, all of which were mentioned at the beginning of her stay.

He was really cared for, he loved the staff and they loved him. He had a lot of life experiences and the staff loved to hear them. When his time was up staff used to pop in and see him all the time because they wanted to see him maybe for the last time. The staff here are so caring and it was a comfort to know he was so well cared for.

A lovely friendly care home for our friend with Alzheimers Disease. Lots of activities, very good food, clean and homely. Only criticism is lack of communication. I have emailed and spoken to staff on several occassions and asked for a copy of the Care Plan. After 3 years I still have not received one. As power of attorney I believe we should be receiving these.

Mum moved into Grove Park nearly 3 years ago. She'd become increasingly lonely following lockdown and felt this was the best place for her and we were right. She has become so happy, content and most importantly she feels safe. She enjoys the food every day and enjoys all the activities provided to her. The home manager and clinical team are visible all the time and approachable with anything.

The care team really treated my family with so much dignity and respect, I would recommend to everyone.
The only improvement I can think of is changing the activities as it seemed at the time there wasn't many options and the options available was all food related.
Dad's doing amazing at Grove Park. His overall improvement is such a blessing to the family. It feels like Grove Park has given Dad a new lease of life. He gives me nothing but praise for the care team and enjoys his meals every day.

My father was well cared for and enjoyed his 7 months there.
I was listened to when I had any concerns and they were dealt with by staff or management promptly.
Entertainment was good for those who wished to attend.

I visit my sister weekly and am always impressed by the dedication of the staff. They are always available to answer questions. Many activities are arranged for the residents. My sister is particularly fond of the musical afternoons which happen often. She is also taken out on short visits. She loves mealtimes! The patio is a pleasant area where we can have coffee. There is always a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere at Grove Park Care Home.

Our mum lived happily at Grove Park for the last year of her life. Although medically it's been a difficult time, the staff have ensured that it has been a good year for Mum. Mum's room was a real home from home, with lots of her own stuff making it feel like a good place to be. She enjoyed the facilities, the home and the food, all of which were outstanding. But most of all we have appreciated the quality and care of the staff at Grove Park. Kind, caring, professional and patient to a person. Nothing was too much trouble. We were particularly touched that several members of staff came to Mum's funeral. Thank you.

From the moment I walked into Grove Park it felt friendly, welcoming and just the environment I was looking for to care for my increasingly frail dad. Many of the team here have worked there for years and have other family members working at the home too. The whole place is kept very clean and well-aired. The activities team arrange so many daily activities that residents can choose to join in if they wish. Food is varied and plentiful. The outside patio is a wonderful place to sit when the weather permits. The coffee shop is a popular place for residents to meet and chat or take part in bingo, quizzes and various other activities. Outside entertainers coming into the home regularly - such as singers, piano players - really get the residents engaged. The main difference, for me, with Grove Park is the people who work there. Such a caring, lovely team. I don’t think I’d have found anywhere better in Leeds for Dad’s final months.
