My Dad sadly passed away this morning, but I just needed to say the following:
Dad has been in Aaron Court since the end of May. He had various health issues and was 90 years old. However, the care he has received has been excellent. He was treated with dignity and shown genuine care by all the staff.
Dad so enjoyed being able to interact with both residents and staff. He loved being able to sit outside and found a new love for painting.
The bedrooms are really lovely and Dad enjoyed the food. The staff treat the residents with dignity and respect at all times.

I can only say an enormous thank you to Aaron Court. I would highly recommend you to anyone.

Overall Experience
My dad has just spent 11 horrendous weeks in hospital. Unfortunately, he has lost the ability to walk and is incontinent, so is unable to come home at this point. Dad has been welcomed into the home and is treated with dignity and respect by the carers, who work extremely hard. However, I don't feel that there are enough carers. Sometimes Dad's personal care is not as good as I would expect eg shaving, needing a clean jumper. He needs help with these things.
That said, Dad has settled really well. He has enjoyed painting, poetry and keep fit. He's been out for lunch and for a ride on a steam train. I am impressed by the activities that are organised; important when Dad is still very mentally active. He's been following the football in the cinema room! I think the facilities are excellent: cinema room, bar, hairdresser, lounges, dining room. The bedrooms are lovely and Dad is very happy with the food.

We are extremely grateful that a carer was able to accompany Dad to Mum's funeral.

Overall Experience

My mother was a resident in Aaron Court in Leicester from September 2015 until January 2016 when she sadly passed away. During that time her care at the home was excellent, especially as being bed bound and doubly incontinent. Her needs were complex, the staff were friendly and respectful at all times and the room was clean and well equipped.

The home was excellent. Clean, brifgt with excellent facilities in each room, lounge and dining rooms. The food was very good. The staff were warm, friendly, attentive and helpful. Dad was very poorly so didn't get to utilise the facilities but he was encouraged by the staff to eat and drink.
