Staff appeared friendly and helpful.
However, we had real problems with my mum's care plan, records were not kept properly nor were they monitored, meaning
Thank you for your feedback which we do welcome in order to continually improve the service. You did raise a complaint directly to me on 04 February to which I sent an immediate response saying I would investigate your concerns and respond within 28 days as per company policy. I am in the process of looking into your concerns and a response will be provided within the 28 days.
We are sorry that the care and service provided did not meet your expectations. There is no record of any complaint having been made, if this is not the case then please accept our apologies and we would be pleased to hear from you directly to discuss any concerns that you might have had. There was a change of manager in September which unfortunately did not work out. There is a now a new manager in post and the previous issues with staff attendance have much improved.
We are very sorry that the reviewer was dissatisfied with the standard of care provided for his mother during her stay at Aaron Court and that we were unable to resolve the issues to his satisfaction. There have in fact been two changes of home manager in the last 7 months, sadly one manager had to leave due to health issues and the initial replacement manager did not work out as we had hoped. There is now a new experienced home manager in post being supported by the senior management team. The area manager had actually worked for the company for six years and has recently left the Company to take up a new opportunity.
I would recommend the home and hope I can bring my partner back if I need respite in the future.
