After moving my brother-in-law from his previous care home I felt really happy for him. Since he has been there the communication with family has been very good. The staff are really nice, all greet you with a smile and a warm welcome. Visting is also very flexible. He's settled in really well. Hopefully,
he can also feel the warmth and compassion the staff show him. I'm sure he can.

It is almost a year since my wife has been a resident at Aaron Court. I would not say it has been easy, and I have had my moments, but on reflection now, I would say I now appreciate the dedication of the staff and especially the manager, she is understanding and gives her time to listen to what is
being said and reassures me, it is a traumatic experience to see your loved one disappear in front of your eyes, the manager at Aaron Court has the capacity to reassure me. If nothing else from this review then please make sure my thanks are passed on to her and her staff, it is not an easy job to do. As for my wife she is settled now and appears to be happy, she has her off days but then who doesn’t, I am happy that my wife is at Aaron Court, I don’t believe she would get better care anywhere else.

We would just like to say thank you for the nursing care our Dad received. Dad was only with you for just over 4 weeks before he passed peacefully away. The kindness you have shown him and us will always be remembered. Wonderful caring friendly staff that treated Dad with the dignity he so deserved
at the end of his life.

My wife has been a resident at Aaron Court since April 2018. My daughter-in-law and I visited Aaron Court and immediately it felt the best place for my lovely wife who has Alzheimer's. Not only do the management and staff take wonderful care of my wife, I know they are there for me whenever I need help.
I couldn't wish for any more.

We would like to send a big thank you to the manager and all her staff at Aaron Court. Just before the Covid 19 virus took hold in the UK, my father was admitted to hospital. After a few weeks of recovery, his existing care home, completely abandoned him, not willing to take him back at this very vulnerable
time. Our dad was now stuck in a hospital that was fighting Covid 19, with nowhere to go. As a family, we spent a very frightening and anxious few weeks.
Luckily Aaron Court said they would take him. From day one, Aaron Court showed kindness and compassion, always there to answer our questions and solve the problems that arose from our dad being rejected by his original care home. The staff always came across calm and reassuring, they quickly established the Face Time calls that were a godsend, especially as we had not had any direct contact with our dad in five weeks. His overall health quickly improved and they kept him safe.

My husband had Dementia and was a resident for six months. Management and Staff do an amazing job caring for residents, especially those with dementia, not an easy task as I well know. Everyone was caring, friendly and helpful as well as being professional, they not only looked after his needs but those
of myself and daughter too. I can’t thank Management and Staff enough for their care and compassion when my husband fell ill, in his last days he had the best care you could wish for, making a difficult journey for him and us bearable. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were sensitive to his needs and the nurses were wonderful, knowledgeable, caring, kind, helpful and thoughtful. I feel he was in the best place he could have been and was treated with dignity and compassion during his stay. His room was lovely and there were lots of space so he could wander around. There are three separate lounges to sit in, a large dining room and a nice kitchen area for making drinks. A very nice care home and well managed.

Two years ago, we visited a dozen care homes with nursing before choosing Aaron Court, which was superior in many ways.
We have always been warmly welcomed by staff, who are more than happy to support any worries or concerns. We are encouraged to help ourselves to drinks and join in with meals.
My
mum was confused at first by communal living but is now, thanks to the kindness of the great care staff, contented and thriving. She is actually, in better shape mobility-wise than when she arrived. The nurses have all been wonderful and keen to manage her many health problems with compassion and expertise. They are always happy to answer questions.
At first, Mum refused to take part in the activities but now settled has enjoyed various trips out for afternoon tea and meals thanks to the lovely ladies responsible. She also enjoys her regular visits to the hair salon.
There is a helpful handyman and a good laundry service.
The manager is excellent and responds immediately with kindness.

We have nothing but admiration for all that the staff do at Aaron Court. The nursing and care staff looked after mum with dedication, skill and kindness and all the staff took great care to find out her specific wants and needs. The management were approachable and caring, as well as being efficient
and businesslike. They always found time for us, the family, as well as having a real relationship with mum. The home has great facilities and is modern and always clean. My only regret is that mum was already very ill when she moved in and unable to enjoy the facilities to the full. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff who treated mum with dignity and respect and showed such compassion to us, her family. It was a great comfort to us to know that she was being so supported and well cared for in her final months.

My mum has been in Aaron Court now for 3 and a half years. The staff are very caring and always treat my mum with kindness. The home is very nicely decorated and kept clean at all times. The outside area is quite limited but would be much improved by providing new tables, chairs and sun umbrellas for
the summer months.
Overall, I am very happy with Aaron Court Care Home and feel Mum is well looked after there.

My dad moved into Aaron Court for a week of respite care, but on returning home it was clear he wanted to be back at the care home. Within 2 hours of me calling the manager dad was back at Aaron Court and spent 4 weeks there before he passed away. The staff are friendly and helpful and dad was comfortable
and looked after. I'll always be grateful for the support Aaron Court showed my dad.

The management team are supportive, helpful and very responsive.
The staff show compassion and kindness and are very patient. They extend a warm welcome to family members and always offers a meal to her husband when visiting. How lovely that residents are taken out for afternoon tea.

We have two full-time activities staff and have invested heavily in activity provision over the last few months including the appointment of an Occupational Therapist and establishing a new well-being team focused on meaningful activity for all our residents. Generally, we receive very positive feedback as to the level of engagement and activities on offer, however, we are always happy to take suggestions on how we can further improve. I am aware that the Home Manager has already discussed this with you and arranged for the well-being team to meet with you and develop an individual plan for you and your husband.

My mum has lived at Aaron Court for four and a half years now and is quite settled there. The staff are caring and considerate to her needs and I'm grateful she is very well looked after. In the beginning, we did have some issues over care but since the change in management, its very good and we are
happy. Any care home is only as good as its staff, they all do a great job, from the cleaners, laundry, activity staff, carers, nurses and management. I believe the CQC rating is good too.

Aaron Court is a very lovely home, well lit and plenty of space for individuals to move around. The staff and management are all friendly and very approachable. When I need to ask questions someone is always available to assist and put your mind at ease. There are activities for all to take part in
and also a church service for religious needs. I would strongly recommend Aaron Court to all my family and friends.

I have found the support we have received as a family from the staff, and especially the management, second to none. The support they have provided since the sudden death of our mother, they have provided support to our father who is the resident and we cannot thank them enough.

Our mum/mum in law/grandma was taken into Aaron Court on discharge from hospital. We knew that she wouldn't be there for long as she was nearing the end of her life at 93 years of age.
All the staff we came across treated both her and us (the extended family) with tremendous care, compassion and dignity.
We were made to feel completely at ease and everything that happened was explained to us. There were so many special touches that made the whole experience more manageable.

She has worked with care services to drive up standards of care and assist providers to achieve compliance.
During her career, she has attended Dementia conferences and developed specialist services for those with dementia.


Lorraine is passionate about moving and handling and resident comfort and is a qualified trainer in this area.
