Throughout the time my husband has been resident in Seacroft Grange the care he has received has been excellent. He took a while to settle and accept that this was now to be his home but with patient care and understanding he is now at ease. He is grateful for his care and has a good, friendly relationship
with all of the girls.
Apart from some confusion over personal items being misplaced despite everything being named and some items put in his room which were not his we have had no issues at all. As a visitor I always receive a warm welcome and people mostly are readily available for a chat and an update. Thank you for your care.

Such a warm welcoming home. Every time we arrive, the staff at the desk always know us; they greet us with a smile and always mention how my mum has been. You really get a feeling that they know her; she's not just a number.
The carers and nurses are always upbeat and cheery. They are happy to chat
and discuss how Mum has been and ask if we have any concerns. The place is filled with laughter and familiarity.
We tried a different home before finding Seacroft, and we felt the staff didn't want to get to know the residents and certainly wouldn't speak to us about Mum.
Seacroft Grange is a wonderful care home, and we are so glad our mum is there.

My mum spent just short of eight weeks on a hospital ward with complications relating to a sudden UTI. During her stay, she was largely bed-bound and lost her mobility and independence. She moved to Seacroft Grange to rehabilitate for a few weeks. Her room is beautiful, as are the communal areas. The
staff are exceptional, professional, caring, kind and personable. She loves the food, and the activities are fabulous. She has made many friends, they support her, and the progress she has made is great!

My husband moved to Seacroft Grange in March this year. Unfortunately, he is still not settled. The carers are wonderful, patient and kind. The food is reasonable, and my husband has no complaints. The carers struggle fir to shortages of staff but still manage to put residents at ease and well cared

Our experince with Seacroft Grange overall has been a very good one. Any issues have been dealt with in a professional manner. The staff are extremely efficient, caring, compassionate, kind and very approachable. Lots of interaction between staff and residents also. The home appears to be well led and
gives great confidence to family and friends visiting. The home is clean and tidy, and plenty of choice of food for residents, which also smells good when cooking.

This review covers an extended period of care for my wife, from before the Covid pandemic to the present. In that time, her needs have progressively increased, and this has been managed sensitively and effectively. The staff in the community caring for her are uniformly kind, thoughtful and respectful.
The management team are available and approachable. The well-being team are imaginative and caring. Everyone is quick to recognise visitors and know them by name. (I have been visiting long enough and frequently enough for that to be expected but I remember being impressed by it initially, and I often notice around the building that others are welcomed with just as much warmth).
In short, I go home after my visits comfortable with the thought that my wife will be safe and cared for.

My relative is difficult, and we have struggled since taking responsibility in 2016 for managing his affairs. Eventually, at Seacroft Grange, we found people willing to give him the 24-hour care he has needed for a very long time, and have not been disappointed. They are patient and can see past his
difficult behaviour to understand the warm and emotional person underneath. They are easy to deal with, and we are working together to give him the best life we can. Please accept our gratitude.

There has never been an occasion when the staff have not been wonderful to my dad, who lives at the home. The manager keeps me informed of all decisions and care needed for him. They always make me feel really welcome, and there are always activities going on. The home, the room and communal areas are
clean and smell great. My dad's room is clean at all times and spacious.
When you love someone with dementia, all you want is for them to be treated with respect and kindness, everyone at Seacroft Grange demonstrates these very special skills.

I wasn't too happy about Mum coming to Seacroft Grange in the beginning. Since she has been in, I have found the staff (which includes everybody) absolute stars! The care and administration have been second to none. I cannot fault the home. Mum has settled in really well. I can only say very well done

I have found this care home to be the best available. They are generally efficient and polite in all dealings. Standards of care are usually extremely good. The staff seem to work very hard to provide the required level of care.

As always, it's never easy to place your loved one in for respite and usually takes a few days for you to relax without worrying if they're ok! As soon as you arrive at Seacroft Grange, you feel as if it's a professional place. The receptionist knew my name and made the connection that I was dropping
Mum off. The whole place looks like there's been money spent on it, keeping it up to date and looks clean. The first member of staff came down to greet Mum put her at ease. The next was part of the well-being team, she walked Mum to her room, and I said I'd be back in a few days to pick her up. The next few days there was follow up calls from the well-being team, who put Mum on the phone to talk to me and tell me what she'd been up to. I had a word with them myself, and they put my mind at rest that Mum was fitting in. I would write a lot more, but I'm running out of space; it truly is a lovely place!

In July 2019 I previously submitted a post from the family acknowledging how great the care home has been for my elderly dementia suffering father. With what’s been a horrendous year for many, I wish on behalf of my father's family to shout out to all the staff who work at the home, especially the crew
on the dementia wing for all they have done this year. Whilst we haven’t had the opportunity to visit like we once did, we fully respect the ever-changing (and confusing) rules and policies issued by the government and appreciate how the care home management has attempted to keep families of residents informed of restrictions and the well-being of residents, it’s clearly not been easy. Let’s hope 2021 is a better year for one and all. Best regards and thanks again!

I have moved my Dad from another care home to here at Seacroft Grange, and the change is outstanding. The service is great, I feel comfortable leaving him in respite, and I always get contacted if there is any issues or concerns. I will always put my Dad here now; they make me feel comfortable, and

My husband has had regular respite stays at Seacroft Grange for over a year, his last stay being in Sept 2019. He is now in a care home permanently, very near home. (We would have chosen Seacroft but we live an hour away and decided that his being nearer home for frequent visiting and to reduce travel
costs was a priority). He greatly enjoyed every stay there for the following reasons: Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, excellent personal care, very clean and pleasant surroundings, good menu, professional staff and care taken with medical/ nursing aspects (medication etc). We would have no hesitation in recommending Seacroft.
