Osborne House Care Home

The care that my mother received was professional and of the highest quality. All the staff, from nursing, general services, to management and administration was warm, caring and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Above all, every member of the team treated my mother, my father and the rest of the family with absolute dignity and respect. The home is fantastic and you should be proud of everyone there.

My Auntie has been in Osborne House for nearly 3 years and has been looked after extremely well by all on the dementia unit, could not ask for more. The care and understanding has been outstanding with all. The home itself is a good and very calm and collective place. I could not ask for more, thank you Osborne House and thank you, staff, for all that you are doing. Kind regards.

The tightening of security has possibly gone too far, especially as a few weeks ago my wife and I and 2 others waited outside for 15 minutes before we could rouse someone to open the door.

I was at Osborne House for a week's respite. The deputy manager was excellent. The activities were also good and I enjoyed an exercise group and a hand massage. The big negative, for me, was the buzzers which seemed to ring all the time day and night.

Overall, very happy.

Food is also really good.

The home is very good to my cousin and the staff are very good and look after his needs.

The facility is warm, clean and the food and service provided were excellent. Myself and my husband who was worried about how she would react to this change were grateful that she was being very well looked after and all her needs were being met by the incredibly friendly staff.

Both my parents came into Osbourne House after Dad had a series of falls. Mum has Alzheimer’s but they got a room together here and they are very happy. The staff have been brilliant in nursing Dad back to health. I would not hesitate in recommending this home based on the current permanent staff working here. They go the extra mile for all the residents with friendliness, care and compassion.

Staff are supportive and attentive but could do with more of them to better cover busy periods.

I cannot express my gratitude for all the care and love all the staff showed towards my dad whilst at Osborne House. They have been extremely helpful to me and my family whilst my dad was with them. A great big thank you from me.

My uncle is settled in the home, he likes all the staff and the food.

I always find the staff friendly and helpful and my uncle always looks clean as does his room.

I have visited Osbourne House on more than one occasion. A neighbour of mine was in there for respite. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble, my neighbour speaks very highly of the care home which was a comfort to see as it was an initial worry when we heard she was going to go in for a short time. She is now home and still misses Osbourne House. The home is neat and tidy and the decoration is very tasteful.

Mum enjoyed her time at Osborne House, she was settled and didn't ask to go home. Mum enjoyed the singing activities and liked the staff.

Whilst I've been a client at the home I've been treated kindly and have had patience given to me at a very difficult time.

My mother had respite care in Osborne House for two weeks and was treated with care and respect by all staff. They were friendly and supportive and she enjoyed being there. She was initially opposed to entering any care home, but her views have changed and she said that she would return there again. We are very grateful to all the staff who contributed and made her feel welcome.

My stay in Osborne House was first class. The staff were very careful, caring and friendly. I could not have wished for better.

Dad has been in Osborne House for over 2 years and in that time we have seen several changes but the overall experience has been consistently positive. The important factor for us is that Dad believes the care and attention he receives is excellent. The family takes comfort from this knowing that when we leave he will be happy and content.

My mum is so lucky to be in a nursing/care home that she feels valued and cared for and most importantly, loved. As a family, we can be happy in the knowledge that she is safe. Thank you, Osborne House.
