Since my mum has been at Mosswood, I have been very pleased with all aspects of her care. The staff are very friendly and professional and offer a great environment to live in. Mum has settled well and most importantly is in a kind and safe environment with company that she can chat to.

We were so lucky to find Mosswood, I visited 17 care homes in the search for a home for our mother. We could not have asked for better care for our mother. Very quickly all the staff knew her name and always took the time to say hello and ask how she is eg. "did she enjoy her weekly trip out for coffee
and cake?" (although the baking at Mosswood would encourage us to stay there!) Aside from being well looked after, it has always been a top priority to us that our mother is clean, nicely dressed and her hair done, which is the case at Mosswood Care Home. Her ensuite bedroom is continually cleaned, as are the other areas of the home.
There is always a genuine interest in my mother's wellbeing from the two nurses in charge of the ward, and they take the time to talk to us about her when we visit.

Overall I am very happy with the care our friend is receiving. She states consistently that she is happy and well looked after. Staff are caring and treat her with respect and dignity for which we are extremely grateful. Staff are friendly when we visit and ensure we have all we require for our visit.
Our friend is always clean and tidy in herself and for that we thank them.

Professionally run care home with excellent staff and facilities. Exceptionally clean with dedicated staff that ensure various residents' requirements are met in full. We are more than pleased at how our loved one is cared for and cannot imagine her being anywhere else.

My mother has now been living in Moss Wood for nearly three years. I find the staff kind and considerate very competent and caring.
The bedrooms are comfortable the public areas are cheerful and well thought out lots of space.
I sleep better knowing my mother is in very safe hands.

The overall care is to a good standard. I have always been updated on my mother’s well being when I have been unable to visit. Nothing is an inconvenience when requesting information or assistance. Previously had my uncle in care at Mosswood. When it came to my mother requiring care, there was no other care homes even considered.
Very pleased with level of care and attention given to my mother.
Staff, cleanliness, management, activities first class.
At a very trying and emotional time when
it became clear mum required urgent care and the NHS thought we'll send her home from hospital after an illness - Mosswood stepped up quickly and efficiently.
What a weight lifted !!!

It is never easy to leave a loved one in the care of others, especially when they are suffering from a condition which causes them to be distressed. However, Mosswood Care Home provided an immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated environment for my aunt. The care staff related to her with humour and
patience. The end of life care provided to my aunt was compassionate and dignified. Equal care and support was provided to the family at that time, for which we are very grateful.

Severe dementia and incontinence is not something every care home will even consider and we were looking for nursing care from experienced carers in dementia.
Mosswood have listened and acted and observed. We now have our loved one eating again and smiling contently. We visit and see he is being well
looked after mentally as well as physically. They care how he does and we are relieved to have them. Clean and lovely to see staff so involved.

Mosswood Care Home is of safe modern design, which facilitates easy and safe care as well as providing a clean, light, spacious, friendly environment. The common areas are very clean, bright and comfortable, available to residents and their visitors. All the nursing staff were excellent, very caring
and considerate of my aunt's needs and character. Various social activities were provided by enthusiastic staff, including away trips. As the end of her life naturally drew near, staff supported me as well as my aunt. I would recommend Mosswood to any elderly person requiring residential care.

My Mum has been a resident in Mosswood for eight weeks and during this time we have been very impressed with the home's policy of allowing family dogs to visit. We visit Mum every day and have witnessed the very positive and interactive response the residents have to a small dog which belongs to one
of the care team which is often present in the lounge as well as my sister's small dog.
My sister and I were very disappointed to learn today that the dog belonging to the care assistant is no longer allowed in the home. I truly feel that this decision deprives the residents of a very worthwhile and beneficial experience. Numerous reports back the therapeutic value of pets in care homes.
I would hope that this decision could be reversed.

My uncle has been at Mosswood since August 2017. I have found the care to be exemplary at all times. The environment is warm and welcoming. The communal areas are bright and light and my uncle’s room has an en-suite bathroom and everything is scrupulously clean. The head chef takes pride in the menus
prepared for the residents and the food is great. My uncle has gone from someone who refused to go into permanent residential to someone who is very happy at Mosswood. All of the staff have made him feel so at home.

Our father has been there for three months and we could not be more pleased. All three adult children live out of the country and we are so appreciative of the care and support given to him. We visit as often as we can and the staff have been excellent in keeping us updated on his health and welfare.
We waited to be able to get him into this home as it was our first choice, very happy with his care and he is happy. All the staff are caring, patient and well trained.

My father was a resident of Mosswood for almost 18 months before his recent passing.
Mosswood provided for all my father's needs and more. His Altzheimers and Dementia were treated with great kindness and patience. He was extremely happy there.
The staff were always available to answer any questions
and would phone me if there was anything to report, which was important to me as I lived so far away.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the kindness and care he received during his final days. Looking after not only dad but the family too.

My friend has now been a resident in Mosswood for 5 months and what a difference this has made to him and his life! There is no doubting that Mosswood is an outstanding facility, very modern but with a very relaxed, homely atmosphere and it is spotlessly clean. However, it is the staff with their genuine,
caring attitude that has made the difference to my friend. He was no longer able to get out and had become fed up and lonely. It has been great to see him come back to his usual cheery self. Well done Mosswood!

The care given to my cousin was superb. The staff are very good. They are cheerful, hardworking and always nearby. The home is clean and has a lovely atmosphere. No matter when we visited we were made very welcome and any requests for my relative was actioned. The End of Life Care was above what we
expected and saying thanks is not enough. I am delighted to recommend this Care Home.
