We include most things in our weekly fee. Although Hairdressing is separate as arranged for you. We have a small list of what you may have to pay for should you need it. We accept council rates with a top up. However we offer fully trained staff, people that know how to support and care for residents with dementia. We believe the ethos of having choice and making that happen is more important than any fee you pay.

I cannot praise too highly the care offered by Osborne House. In my opinion - as detailed below - it rates 5,stars in all areas. It is extremely well managed and the fact that in the many months my husband was in care there was continuity of staff all of whom were very positively involved with the wellbeing/care of the residents. Smiling faces abound and each resident is known and addressed by name. There is a genuine atmosphere of love of their residents at Osborne House.

I highly recommend Osborne House to anyone seeking a care home for a beloved relative. Osborne House is exceptional and different for many reasons. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel at ease. It is beautifully decorated, homely and clean. It is a safe and kind environment. A weekly schedule of entertainment and activities is in place to keep the home filled with music, laughter, fun and happiness. Every single member of staff is dedicated to their role; caring, kind and providing all the support needed. Mum has been at Osborne House for 2 years now having arrived just before Covid! It's like a home from home with a real "family" feel may be in part due to its size (unlike some very large homes we viewed before Osborne). Mum has settled well and is far less anxious and confused and I'm sure she enjoys the views from the conservatory. The care is excellent with really good communication when mums been poorly. During a few hospital admissions, Osborne helped with liaison so we could get her discharged quicker and back home where I know she feels safe.

She helped me sort a private ambulance to get my husband to Osborne House. She organised for him to go in a lovely room with a view of the sea....

She helped me sort a private ambulance to get my husband to Osborne House. She organised for him to go in a lovely room with a view of the sea. She not only did this but even drove to the doctors and chemist to get his medication ready for his final days. The care was incredible allowing us as a family to say goodbye together. They listened to all our wishes. They went above and beyond. They have even put a memory plaque in the memory garden so I can go and sit there.
