Buckingham House Care Home

I have been part of the Buckingham House family since June 2015, starting my journey as a Health Care Assistant, right the way through to the Deputy Manager for 2 years to most recently being appointed as the Home Manager in August 2021.
Working within the home, I have discovered that I could not see myself working within any other profession. I am passionate and committed to provide resident led care, empowering those whose home we have the privilege of working within to have the best and most independent quality of life. I love keeping involved in daily living within the home and continue to support residents and the team with daily life at Buckingham House.

I graduated my nursing degree in 2010 and have been practicing as a nurse for over 15 years.
I have a variety of managerial experience across Health and Social Care and have worked as a Deputy Manager with MMCG for almost 2 years.
It is important to me that we uphold and maintain the same level of care that I expect my parents to receive. I am passionate to ensure that all our residents are clinically safe and their needs are met holistically. I see myself as the bridge between the management and wider teams in the home.

I have 20 years of extensive experience in hospitality, operations and food and beverage management.
I oversee all hospitality services at Buckingham House and strive to ensure everyone coming to the home receives great customer service and has a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

I am a dedicated Business Administrator with over five years of experience in administrative roles and a strong academic background in accounting and business management.

I joined the Buckingham House family in May 2025 and play an integral role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the service.

As a care home administrator, I ensure there is effective coordination of administrative and financial processes, accurate record-keeping, and clear communication across the organisation. I take great pride in supporting compliance, operational efficiency, and creating a warm, welcoming environment where our residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.

I joined Buckingham House in 2018 as Lifestyle Co-ordinator and then in 2020 started a new challenge as Receptionist. I love working front of house and meeting people as they arrive at Buckingham House. I thoroughly enjoy working with all the Team as we have such a good relationship and they feel like a big family. Each day is very different and I love helping to support families and residents. What a great Team to work with !

I joined Buckingham House Care Home as a Receptionist in June 2025, after a great career of 38 years with the Flag Carrier at Heathrow.

As my background is in Health and Safety and the Customer Sector, I have a genuine desire to help others with compassion and empathy. I find that effective communication is vital for conveying information in this role.

In the Receptionist role, teamwork is vital, and no day is the same. A receptionist's role is so important to ensure residents feel at home, and their relatives and friends are warmly welcomed and cared for.

I joined Buckingham House in October 2025 as a Lifestyle Co-Ordinator, and I have a strong passion for improving and enhancing our residents' daily lives and helping people to achieve their goals and dreams.

My background is in the professional fitness industry. I find great fulfilment in helping people succeed and find happiness through their accomplishments.

I, and our Lifestyle team, take our time to get to know every resident, who they are, and what is important to them, enabling us to offer person-centred and purposeful activities. I am supported by a great team that shares my passion for forming genuine connections and caring relationships with all of our residents and loved ones at Buckingham House.
