The home’s dedicated team provides person-centred care for nursing, residential, and dementia needs. A variety of activities, including music sessions and exercise classes, are offered to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Chapel Care Centre has close links with the nearby acute hospital and A&E, less than 0.4 miles away, and the GP practice, situated across the road. The GP also visits the home every week as part of the clinical ward round. The care home has excellent transport links, with a bus stop directly outside the home; the train station and bus station are also within walking distance.
The home's chefs prepare all meals on-site. Residents may choose from the menu daily or select an alternative if preferred. Drinks and snacks are widely available throughout the day and night.

This has been a very difficult year for all concerned; relatives, residents and staff. Within the limitations imposed on them it feels that Chapel House have done their best to maintain contact between relatives and residents.

My mother has a very comfortable, well-equipped and spacious room with en-suite facilities. Every time I have visited, the rooms look clean and tidy. My mother's nurse has been very helpful and she is well cared for in this lovely home.

It was my decision to insist they stayed there: Living 100 miles away we regularly visited and were always happy with the care, facilities and knowledge the staff showed.
Contact by email or telephone was effective, accurate and helpful. It was easy to make any 'one-off' arrangements. No complaints, only grateful for the care and treatment they both received in their time at this 'home'.

Her comment on leaving - It's a lovely place and I really like the staff. It's perfect for old people. She wasn't referring to herself though. Everyone made a huge effort and I am so grateful.

What a wonderful place with the most caring staff. My husband was there only a few days for end of life care. The staff cared for him but also for myself, family and dog and we all stayed with him for about 36 hours. Everyone of the staff were kind, considerate and bent over backwards to make sure we all ate and drank sufficiently, that we were aware of what was happening and even the dog was cared for.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and peaceful and quiet. I cannot praise the home and its staff highly enough.

The food would have been greatly improved had it been served hot. I thought the choices, when I was given any, were mediocre, I missed being offered any fruit when confined to my room
